What does Joyce Meyers teach?

Its no ones fault, its just the flaw in the system, thats the way it works. Thats why in scripture they all just went each others homes and broke bread, and im guessing each family looked after themselves and earn there bread, but if anyone was struggling they would help each other out. Thats what i believe is true church.

they also went to temple

And Jesus had to make a whip and overturned tables in the courtyard because it was corrupted and said throw it down he will raise it up in 3 days.

You gotta remember the early believers were not allowed in the Synagogue. They had no official, public meeting place. And besides, meeting publicly was probably very dangerous in the beginning anyway.

anyone who knows about a TV preachers extravagant lifestyle, and still gives money, are on their own.
That's the way I looks at it.

After a council.you do know what the sanhedrin were, and before.they decided.
They approved the death sentence on the basis of two or three witnesses. But the issue was that the people did indeed carry out the sentence.

How do you know that? That sounds rude .. What make you say that ? What is your backing ? you know i aint being rude so tell me?

Okay, Miss Rudeness...

Again so you believe we should curse others to damnation? Remember that was the fate of the executed.

A witch ,who was found guilty is where in sheol? The lower parts or the upper.?

It would be interesting if we acturally knew Jesus expressions.

Like did he say nice and calm

'i am the bread of life'

or, was he like

'I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! '

Christian movies can be a little crooked because who knows the emotions involved in the speech.

till about 70 ad...kinda the end of that generation

Jesus said that generation would not pass until all things are fullfilled, so you believe everything is fullfilled Jesus was talking about.

The people themselves were to carry out capital punishment required by the law:
"...shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones." (Leviticus 20:2 NASB)

I think that's why Jesus sought out the accuser of the woman caught in adultery to cast the first stone. I believe that's what the law required. Since no one stepped forward he could not carry out the sentence himself. Fact check welcome.

It was only the woman accused why no man also she commit adulary with no or witness accuser?. It was probably the married dude she messed around with.

David Jeremiah and a couple others are probably the only 'famous' pastors who acturally have the bible open and read from the scriptures even they can talk there own doctrine addons, but they still have open books. I think David Jeremiah is a genuine humble man.

Joel, Joyce and many others just stand there and boast, no books open. I mean, its not hard to tell who a boaster is. Many churches do it, the Pastor is up there just boasting stories to the audience.

I love Jeremiah!

Kiwidan, I realize you have some angst toward organized religion, but I think you're throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Most pastors, imperfect as they are, are honestly responding to their Call, standing in the gap.

I believe we aught to take care to avoid contributing to character assassination. Some of the comments by numerous people in this thread are personal toward a women who has devoted her life to serve the Lord. I'm not drawn to Meyers, but God bless those whose faith is strengthened by her messages. I've been guilty of this in conversations about Osteen mostly because I've never heard him stress the Truth of Jesus being the only way or impress the importance of turning from sin. My fear is his audience hears part of the Gospel and none of the Law.

Should we? No.
Only a spiritual moron would do that.

"for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things." (Romans 2:1 NASB)

But it was most certainly allowed under the law to condemn others to death for their sins worthy of death. But as I say, only a moron would dare think he could do that and not bring himself under the same Judgment for the things he has done that are worthy of death. Instead, we are to show mercy and by that escape judgment:

"For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment." (James 2:13 NASB)

Go easy on the boy. I think this is what he had in mind:

14For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them" (Romans 2:14-15 NASB)

Just because some people in the vast expanse of history have never heard the name of Jesus (which means MOST people who have ever lived) doesn't mean God has not found a way to reach them and save them through the faculties of instinct and conscience.

And if you have ever listened to Joel you will find out that he is ALL about turning from sin and doing right. That is indeed the key to receiving from God. You can not live in sin and receive the blessings of God. He will openly tell you that. Maybe you can find his CD "Bloom Where You're Planted' on UTube or something. Listen to it, you'll see. You will change what you and others think he teaches about.
