What happens to the soul of an aborted fetus?

What separates one from God ?

Doesn't "reconcile" entail a falling away ?
How does a baby "fall away" ?
They don't.
Though I think we must remember the Catholic church sprinkles newborns to indoctrinate them into the church and save them from hell should they later die.

Jesus said unless we become like little children we cannot see the kingdom of heaven. Odd, if Jesus sends babies to Hell if they're aborted or die of SIDS.

I did.
You can't give a straight answer.
I think it did. Of course an aborted fetus is innocent of any sin. You assume that means God will permit it live inside Him.

God cannot. He is Holy, fallen human nature (fetus or adult) is not.

An analogy: God is Water, we are beings of fire. If we try to enter the Water, we are snuffed out.

Only in Christ can we pass over from being in fire, into water.....from the state of death, into life:

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (Jn. 5:24 NKJ)

Only by believing in God, His sacrifice for our sins, in Jesus Christ our LORD, of your own free will...will your restoration to holiness be acheived, so you can live in God and He in you.

There is no salvation apart from Jesus. No other name whereby we can be saved.

Cannot be saved in the name of being a fetus.

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 NKJ)

Everyone in Adam is dead, lost, separated from God. Only in Christ is there reconciliation, is atonement possible:

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man's offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.
17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) (Rom. 5:14-17 NKJ)

21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. (1 Cor. 15:21-22 NKJ)

That deed is pointless, and unbiblical.
Membership in Christ's body can only be voluntary.

Yes, entirely trusting those who have the rule over us.

Good point.

I can't discuss this with you further.
Your god is foreign to this born again Christian.

He wouldn't be if you studied the scripture.

16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Jn. 3:16-18 NKJ)

Have you studied what scripture says about "the Fall", how Adam died the day he ate from the tree and became separated from God. He realized he was sinful, naked?

Have you studied who God is, Holy and cannot abide with sin?

Did you know in the new heavens and earth God will live in us, and we in Him? That is why we must be holy.

A baby doesn't fall away, it already is fallen because of Adam's fallen nature it inherited.

You should lean on the word. There's a difference in reading the Bible and knowing what it has to say.

7.
and the dust returns to the earth as it was,
and the life’s breath[z] returns to God who gave it.

Footnote

[z]tn Or “spirit.” The likely referent is the life’s breath that originates with God. See Eccl 3:19, as well as Gen 2:7; 6:17; 7:22.

Ecclesiastes 3:19
For the fate of humans[aj] and the fate of animals are the same:
As one dies, so dies the other; both have the same breath.

Genesis 2:7 7 The Lord God formed[u] the man from the soil of the ground[v] and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,[w] and the man became a living being.[x]

Footnote

[x] tn The Hebrew term נֶפֶשׁ (nefesh, “being”) is often translated “soul,” but the word usually refers to the whole person. The phrase נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה (nefesh khayyah, “living being”) is used of both animals and human beings (see 1:20, 24, 30; 2:19).

Preborn babies that are miscarried or murdered in their mother's womb are made in the image of God,by God. They return to God. And also because they cannot be sinners as they were never born. Nor were they able to reach the age of accountability.

You contradict yourself. You defined "spirit" as the soul of the fetus that returned to God. Now you argree with me, that "spirit" is the "breath of life" that animates the human soul and body, and which returns to God upon physical death. Its not the soul of the fetus.

The "preacher" was speaking about vanity, how death ends all human plans and in that sense we have nothing on the animals. We are in the image of God, animals are not. We are spiritual beings, animals are not.

Became a living being, infused with God's breath, unlike the animals that arose by the Word of power on matter.

All humans, not just babies are in the image of God. All in Adam have fallen nature, unholy.

Heretical. No one goes to the Father except through Christ:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (Jn. 14:6 NKJ)

If they credited Jesus with opening the way, it wouldn't be all that off. Leaving Him out of the question, is a rejection of how God saves the entire Kosmos:

16 "For God so loved the world (2889 κόσμος kosmos) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 "For God did not send His Son into the world (2889 κόσμος kosmos) to condemn the world (2889 κόσμος kosmos), but that the world (2889 κόσμος kosmos) through Him might be saved. (Jn. 3:16-17 NKJ)

"Kosmos" (the entire world, all in it including the dead or unborn) is repeated four times for emphasis. Nothing in the Kosmos is saved apart from Jesus.

Not Ecclesiastes, Focus on your $$$ where pablum is taught to ignorant Christians for their donation dollars.

Its truly odd. So few Christians avail themselves of the learned doctors of the faith. Its true I disagree with some of the "Catholic inventions" they retain, but studying a "Systematic Theology of the Christian Religion" is required reading for all who call themselves Protestant Christian.

Why a Systematic Theology? One must see "the entire picture" pieces of scripture paint. Otherwise, everything is disconnected, single pieces of the puzzle that reveal nothing and are often taken out of context, to draw pictures that are foreign to scripture.

For a tour de force on body soul and spirit, Gustav Oehler "Theology of the Old Testament". Baptist.

Even young Jesus consulted with the doctors of the Faith:

45 So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him.
46 Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.
47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.
48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously."
49 And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" (Lk. 2:45-49 NKJ)

When you resort to personal attack you fail.

I'll swallow pablum,as you judge it, when in truth it is God's word, before I ever accept pre born treasures of God go anywhere but back to their Father when they are miscarried or aborted.

I never suggested the aborted are lost, I only pointed out they can be saved in Jesus Only. That some consider that objectionable, speaks volumes about their lack of appreciation for what God did by sending Jesus, and what Jesus did for us.

Its an organization.

The love of God is absent in your theory. God MUST save because you judge it right.

But the Love of God has factored in the dismal hopeless plight of all humanity, and His solution is Jesus.

Its sad you don't see that. Perhaps you would if you educated yourself on the Christian Faith, read what its teachers taught for centuries, since the Reformation.

As Adam didn't die on that day, your point is moot.
Have you studied who God is, Holy and cannot abide with sin?
Yup, and thank God everyday for allowing us to live without sin, since Jesus' resurrection.
Did you know in the new heavens and earth God will live in us, and we in Him? That is why we must be holy.
What scripture do you cite for that idea ?
A baby doesn't fall away, it already is fallen because of Adam's fallen nature it inherited.
Natures are not sin.
A sin must be committed, for one to be a sinner.
