Ooh...a nudie shot...nice. Could stand to lose a few pounds and use the razor a bit more here and there, but I'd go for ya. You look like you could have a wild side to ya.

But isn't it your Christian duty to try to convert and save me?

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

No, it is our duty to teach and spread the Good News. It is up to the Holy Spirit to soften hardened hearts. It is up to the person to be receptive the the Gospel and listen to his/her conscience. (one of several ways God's Spirt communicates with us )

Though No expert on THIS subject matter, I'd suggest that you pray about it. Do we not serve a God who speaks? I personally feel that if you feel convicted, its not you who's doing the convicting, but the Holy Spirit..so keep that in mind.

I can't believe I'm asking this.

But WHAT sexually is ok to do in a marriage?

I've heard oral is wrong.

You know how stores sell these restraints and all? Is that wrong?

I'm not talking about bringing other people in or anything like that. I'm just wondering if there are boundaries that a husband and wife should not cross. :-?

My hubby would absolutly flip out if he knew I was posting this! LOL

Hello sillynikki,
beleive me this question is asked way more then most think and yes it should be shocking to us all, but it does seem to need an answer today. Some today point to the bible to try and justify just about anything. In this area they may point to Hbr 13:4 Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Let's look at the passage for a moment and see what it is saying. First let's ask a question. Is the Hebrew passage intended by God to be an open door to anything in the area of sex just because we are married to one another? I don't think so. Here is why. Can we honestly say that God intends us to have oral sex with one another? In other words is that what God intended the sexual union to be like? I think that it is clear that it is not. The reason we might intertain this is because we have let our lusts rule. The reason is that we have strayed from the Lord in purity and we have adopted sex as a god. What we have done is allow something that is beautify between two married people to become defiled.

Think about it for a moment. The scripture says marriage bed. That is a phrase that describes the first coming together of two people who are both intended to be virgins. In other words two people who have kept themselves pure for the marriage bed do not find themselves in oral sex the first night. God is discribing the natural coming together of two people in a natural act of giving one to the other. That act is blessed of God, but oral sex is not natural. Our mouths were not given to promote sexual pleasure in the genitil area. Oral sex between two people gives evidence that our lusts are controlling us.

Here is a link to a site that is dealing with the same principle. Not the same issue, but the same principle. Go to the site and either listen to the tape free on line or read what is said. http://www.familylife.com/fltoday/default.asp?id=7090

I am gald that you asked this. many are deceived in justifying this, some do it and hide it and the rest need to know the truth. God has given us soemthing great and pure when exercised in Him, but when we defile it we end up with dishonor and shame.

Saved

I am confused. How is it that you are certain what God intended for us all concerning sex? You may think it is wrong for you and that is your right. But your response leads me to believe you think everyone should see it your way.

Why would God create our bodies in such a way as to have those areas the most sensitive? I am crazy about my wife and we enjoy each the gift of sex given to us by God. I fail to see any issue with the MUTUAL enjoyment of oral sex.

I think the only stigma comes from the perversion of sex by the pornography industry. They will have to answer for their actions one day, as will all of us. If you and your spouse have prayerfully considered the issue and are not convicted, I say GO FOR IT AND ENJOY!!!

If you do feel convicted, you need to do what you feel is right in God's sight. Just be careful how you come off to others about your convictions.

MAybe someday we can debate the issue face to face in heaven :D

GOd Bless
