what music are we listening to?

After years of breaking, quitting, and giving away many acoustic guitars in the past, im now thinking of getting an electric guitar.

I play a Martin D28 acoustic but since arthritis is affecting my left fingers, I've given t o my son. He's an excellent guitarist who now learns classical. I played country.

How could that be?
They seem to idolize satan and the music sounds worse than Dio,
Black Sabbath, Ozzie, etc.

It's like this Christian band wants to be a part of the dark world instead of bringing light.

It's like when a church becomes like the world instead of the other way around.

I can almost guarantee the day will come when you don't like this stuff anymore.

In the meantime, yeah, I'm not saying you're lost because of this...lucky for us, God understands us at every moment of our lives.

Ozzy is actually a Christian..
Many of the old metal bands have turned to Christ. I like that.
Bob Dylan got saved and made some fine Christian albums.
Petra is a really good Christian band. With great lyrics!

I can read some of that katakana and hiragana but very few kanji. I think "aishiteru" means love.

Christian contemporary alt-folk/country artist, Julie Miller, and her musician husband, Buddy Miller, have been around for a number of years. They are close friends with Emmy Lou Harris and Buddy performed on tour with Emmy Lou back in the late 1990s. I've seen each of them in separate touring venues, Julie with Randy Stonehill, Buddy with Emmy Lou, and Linda Ronstadt.

Here is a beautiful track from the Angels And Orphans album that I particularly love by Julie Miller with Buddy interchanging vocals with lovely harmonies, Jesus In Your Eyes.
