I doubt if it's "curtains again" Elvis...this site is open to all, no matter what their beliefs are as long as the terms are observed. Just be open and aboveboard, that's all. I've never heard of Christadelphians, but I had gathered from reading other posts of yours that you do not hold to Christian teaching.

As for your OP, there are a lot of statements that I disagree with, but let's start with this one:

Jesus Himself taught this in Matthew 25:31-46, and with such statements like, "I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in Me shall never die. (Jn 11:25)" and "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand.(Jn 10:27)" and "I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.(Mt 8:11-12)" and "And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’" (Mk 9:42-48) and all the myriad of other statements of Christ which assure us that those who believe in Him have eternal life, and those who don't face eternal damnation.

To say that man has not eternal life would be to say that Jesus, when hanging on the cross, lied to the thief at His right when He said, "Today, you will be with Me in Paradise."

Elijah here: Surely you know that un/inspired man put the numbers. titles & periods + [COMA'S] and the like into the Bible?? And you give this Luke 21 material Truth by putting the coma where it does not belong. And 'To be sure', check in John 20:17 for where Christ stated to Mary that He had not even Gone to heaves Paradise three days from His resurection.

I will put the coma break as Christ would require it for [HIM TO BE TRUTHFUL]!

[39] And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
[40] But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

(It should read)

Again, John records that even three days after Christ's death He had not gone back to heaven as of yet.

Quite a large number are thinking about death with the disasterous times that we are living in it seems? So we do need to have REAL understanding of Truth!

The ones of Rev. 17:1-5 have [set their selves up] for satans last go round of spiritualism. Even on some sites we see some finding a meaning to everything that 'appears' to them. 'black cats & the like'. It must mean something, I dreamed this or that! It seems that there is even a thread asking what such & such means on one site?

God stated that one dies!! satan say not so, to 'curious' Eve!! (+ the Curious with Excitement! Emotion! Noise!) But it is not only the female Eve's who go to the serpent to 'learn' his lieing garbage & then come away 'TEACHING AT LEAST' that God did indeed lie, and satan told the truth.

And who is BELIEVED?? Most all of the Rev. 17:1-5 ones DOCTRINE teach that God lied. And that has been for a LONG LONG TIME PAST ANY Gen. 6:3's [[[STRIVING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!]]] So it is no wonder that INSPIRATION has it [DOCUMENTED] these ones as.. 'THE ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH'.

So hearing actual.. evil spirits will be NO CHALENGE TO THEM. Surely old King Saul who at one time Believed God & who had the Holy Spirit given to him making him a new man & who had the devils workers of 'spiritulism' stuff destroyed, finally had him seen in his mature end of his apostasy going to satan 'workersf' for Gods orders! And brain dead one wonders??

Death Is Unconsciousness

From what we have learnt so far about the soul and spirit, it should follow that while dead a person is totally unconscious. Whilst the actions of those responsible to God will be remembered by Him (Mal. 3:16; Rev. 20:12; Heb. 6:10), there is nothing in the Bible to suggest that we have any consciousness during the death state. It is hard to argue with the following clear statements concerning this:-

The reality is that ALL BELIEVERS suffer TRIBULATIONS in this present life. We do in fact carry our 'enemies' within our own hearts. Externalizing this matter is both fruitless and pointless by 'blaming the other guys' for presecution when in fact PERSECUTION is a PROMISE of the Gospel for EVERY believer, and it is so because we all have EVIL PRESENT within us just as Paul taught for himself.

Brand name exclusivity notwithstanding to the facts of EVIL PRESENT with ALL.

God does DEAL with EVIL PRESENT in all of us in an ADVERSARIAL MANNER. That is WHY we have 'tribulation.'

God is NOT the PAL of EVIL PRESENT no matter what 'brand name' is written above the entrance of the building or what they subscribe to therein.

We are PROMISED hatred by THE WORLD and by ALL MEN. When was the last time ALL MEN hated you? lol in figuring that one out.

Yet Jesus refers to Lazarus as "Sleeping".

Alrighty then .... a contradiction .....

However the statement that there is nowhere found in the Bible that there is consciousness after death would still therefore be incorrect.
