Why didn't CHRIST invite doctors?

I think you misread Allenwynnes question, Obadiah - He asked a theoretical or hypothetical question; he was not saying that he believes God doesn't want to or won't heal him.

Pretty much everything that we read we misread, as I think. And this relates to scriptures too.

You see, John the Baptist did not tell us to read, and read, and read again. Instead he suggested to repent.

It's wise to realize we are hear to serve God, God does not exist to serve us.

And yet we are dependent on God minding us. We are dependent on food, on air, on water, on sun, on cloth, on everything.

Jusus came to serve us, so that we serve each other, while God is minding us. Right?

I never said God doesn't want to heal you. How could I possibly know if He does or not? It's wise to realize we are hear to serve God, God does not exist to serve us.

How could we know if God wants to heal us or not? It's right there in scripture brother. He does. The Lord knew this question would be asked, so He put it in there for us. The Leper came to Jesus saying I know you can, but is it your will to heal me? (Or similar) It's in Luke 5 I think. Jesus answered and said "I will" so there you have it. It is His will to heal us. God does not change and is no respecter of persons, so if it was true for the Leper, then it's true for all.

The best healer on earth would of course be a Christian Doctor. Medical science is real and does save lives to a certain extent. Then there is God, which has no limits.

Why didn't CHRIST invite doctors?

John 9
1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.
2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.

That's why Christ didn't invite doctors.

Then why do Christians get sick, injured, or are born with defects and do not always get healed? Some would say it's lack of faith, but did Paul lack faith moreso than those who Jesus did in fact heal? Paul wanted God to heal him and God did not. So why don't all Christians get healed and live forever?

People do not get healed for many reasons, none of which means that God does not want them healed, unless of course he is doing something to glorify God with like the man who was born blind. Some things do take a greater amount of faith to receive the healing and make it happen, like Jesus said to the disciples why they could not cast out the spirit of the one man. Other times, like in Christians, He may wait to heal them before he does it because he wants to lead them along a certain path of faith and growth and not give everything at once. Perhaps he desires more obedience from them? Many times in the Old Tesament, god would do something for the Israelites, and promise them more...if they would obey Him and follow His ways. Sometimes they did, sometimes they didn't.

God will not be mocked or taken advantage of. He is not a vending machine where if we need, we stop in and say hey give, then go back to our regular sinful ways...no sir. It is a growth process and a renewing process which takes place over time. If God gives too much too fast then we would not appreciate it when he does give, and not be encouraged to strive to please him or seek Him and His ways.

I have a back injury that has not been healed. I also had a seizure and fell from a 10 ft ladder and dislocated my hip. I could barely walk and not afford a doctor or hospital. I prayed for healing. God healed my hip and reset my dislocated bone one night...but He did not heal my back at the same time. Huh. Why was that do you think? So does God want to heal me or not? Should I have faith in Him or not? I do. Instead of continuing to pray for healing in my back, I pray and give thanks to Him for the healing of my back which He has not done yet, but I know He will in His own good time. I am ok for now and can walk and make money. He takes care of me. He'll get around to healing my back when the time is right for Him. I also try to keep in mind that 1000 years is as a day to the Lord. So perhaps the Lord heard my petition for healing my back and thought to get to it in a minute or two. lol. Which could be a year or two for me, lol.

Brother Obadiah, Paul was not sick. You have been reading either modern translations that been swayed by deception or someone's deceived opinion.
Paul says right in the Scripture, the same sentence, what the thorn in the flesh was (do we not say, "a pain in the neck" when it's neither a pain nor having anything to do with your neck?), he says it was a MESSENGER OF SATAN SENT TO BUFFET HIM.
Buffeting is a sailing term, and in our modern times we would say "caught in irons", meaning your ship won't sail because there is wind on both sides of the sail and it's going nowhere. Buffeting a ship with wind...this messenger of Satan (and the word in the Greek there always refers to an angel, never to a sickness or disease) buffeted Paul in his attempts to spread the Gospel.
Then putting all the pieces together of Acts and his letters, you see how when he went to preach that slave girl followed him around for days trying to link the Gospel with demons until Paul cast the demon out of her. And you see the Jews get mad and go after him and then when he escapes and moves on, they find out where he went, they follow him and stir up trouble there, he escapes, they find out where he goes and chase him out again.
BUT he tells Timothy thanks be to God Who DELIVERED HIM OUT (not through, OUT) of them ALL (that means ALL).

I have condensed many Scriptures into that short story, but that's exactly what happened and exactly what the thorn in the flesh was; Satan's messenger to BUFFET him, lest he should be exalted above measure BY the abundance of revelation. In other words, Satan was freaking out about how strong in the Lord Paul was becoming and sent his top guys after him to try to shut him down.

As for the man who was born blind thing - it actually says in the original Greek that Jesus said it was neither, but that He would take it as an opportunity to show God's glory. In other words, it had nothing to do with sin, or with God, but with Satan.
Do not forget that as you do not see sickness or disease or any such thing in Eden or Heaven (where God's perfect will is done all the time without exception) and in Jesus' ministry he annihilated all that junk out of everyone who came to Him in faith. AND 1 John 3:8 says that the REASON Jesus appeared was TO DESTROY THE WORKS (plural) OF THE DEVIL.
The WORKSSSSSS. Most Christians would say it was because of sin, but that's not true, it was to destroy ALL the workS of the Devil. And again, whatever you don't see in Eden or Heaven would therefore HAVE to be a work of the Devil.

So what IS a work of the Devil? Poverty, sickness, disease, disability, blindness, deafness, muteness, demon possession, hatred, envy, pride, fear, temptation, etc. You won't see any of that junk in Heaven, so who is the author of all that trash? The Devil. And therefore Jesus came to DESTROY all of that.

2 Cor 8:9 you don't have to be poor no more
Isaiah 53:4-5 ---> Matthew 8:16:17 you can be well all the time
Just for starters...understand the word grief in Hebrew has to do with sicknesses and diseases and sorrow there is pain and weakness and infirmity.

Prov 18:20-21 - your words determine what you get, so speak what God says. Want to know His will? He told you it is HEAVEN here on the Earth (YOUR will be done here on the Earth JUST as it is in Heaven - if you don't see it in Heaven DON'T ACCEPT IT).

Start speaking God's Word over your circumstances.

Get a revelation of the Covenant God has made with you through Jesus. The Covenants of promise (Eph 2:8-9).
Understand that you are the Blessed of the Lord, just as Abraham was (Gal 3:13-14)
EVERY promise of God is yes and amen already if you are in Jesus (2 Cor 1:20)
The promises are all yours (Gal 3:29)

I could keep going, but this message will get too long.

Then why do Christians get sick, injured, or are born with defects and do not always get healed?

Why are there 1000s denominations out there? Are they all healthy?

Our body reflects the state of our spirit, as I think. All needs to be healed. Right?

You have written brilliantly. It takes faith to believe. The same amount of faith one applies on taking some med and believing strongly on its efficacy ....is also the same you need for that ailment to leave your body. Truth is, many have lost faith in God. Believe it or not, some would prefer to struggle out of Christ's grip and go for a doc.

Matthew 9
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.

If going to the doctor is a lack of faith, why didn't Jesus say so? And why did Paul advise those with stomach ailments to drink a little wine for those infirmities instead of simply praying to have those infirmities removed?

1 Timothy 5
23 No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.

God's glory has every thing to do with God...

Joh 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
Joh 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Joh 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Or visa versa. Have you noticed the world attains to the beauty of the flesh.

I was more thinking of the scriptures:

"For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."
