I reject your interpretation because that is what it is. It is not scripture. No points of view, but what God has already given for the governing of His true Church. You can reject the scriptures I gave if you want.

Are you going to accept your own advice? My husband and I were looking for a new home church and the first one we went to check out the service had already started and someone came out and asked if she could help us instead of inviting us in to the service. Another church we checked out all they had was praise and worship band with singers and for the whole hour maybe short breaks for a ten minute Bible reading, taking up the offering and back to the singing. We just got up and walked out.
The biggest problem with many church gatherings is that Jesus knocks and no one will let Him in. Emotions takes the place of the Holy Spirit.
2Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
People need to quit playing Church and start being the true Church of God.
amazing you know so muchIn the true church, you do not have to fill out forms for the taxman or charities commission.
No it's not. It is called graft. Hardly a day goes by that I am not studying something.amazing you know so much
Is that so? When I was a younger Christian, I respected my Elders because they were Elders. Whether they respected me was irrelevant. A bit like today. You may not respect Charles as a person but you respect him as a King.to get respect one needs show respect i can respect the person being a elder but respect them when they demand
And just what did I accuse you of that was trite and accusing? If you would quit overtalking people then maybe you could actually read what they have said. I didn't say that you did not read the scriptures I gave, but that possibly you do not read them, or is it possible you did not understand them. All I get back is sarcasm for an answer........please!!!Oh pleeeease! Is trite phrases and accusations the best that you can do?
All I said was that you probably never went and read those scriptures I gave or possibly did not understand them. If that comment is not arrogant and prideful, I don't know what is.
That can be said of you or anyone. Respect has to be earned no matter what age one is. I respect all who have Spiritual truth, but I will also question that of the thinking that comes from a carnal mind.I notice that some Christians have great difficulty seeing themselves as others see them. I notice that you are a female who has little respect for your Elders.
There are no modern day interpretations of the word of God as it is the same yesterday, today and forever as God word never changes, but the various interpretations out there today does try to change God's word. I never reject correction as long as the correction lines up with the word of God if I am in error of it.Then why are your arguments based on modern-day interpretations?
1Cor 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.Where does it say all that in the New Testament?
Matthew 22:15-22 paying taxes.Where does the bible mention section 501c3 of the IRS code?
Then they are not God's true church then according to 1 Corinthians 12:28.There are a lot of churches that do not have Elders.
Your question should be, why would anyone bring a Pastor from outside the body of Christ to run God's true Church. The job of the Pastor is to feed and lead his flock onto all truths.Where does it say in scripture the pastor brought in from outside runs the church?
Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's.In the true church, you do not have to fill out forms for the taxman or charities commission.
and just what advice would that be?Are you going to accept your own advice?
lol just how old are you ? who the heck is charles ?Is that so? When I was a younger Christian, I respected my Elders because they were Elders. Whether they respected me was irrelevant. A bit like today. You may not respect Charles as a person but you respect him as a King.
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:for_his_glory said:
"What I gave is straight out of the Bible for the governing of the Church according to His word."
Yes, straight out of the bible, but then we need straightness in us, to continue on straight.
I know people will not be honest, this is just a testimony while I am on the forum, so they were told.
I said it already, how all the teachers God set up ( the churches) had a better way revealed ( 2000 years ago as the wolves entered the flock ass the Apostles died.)
No more governments, no more teachers, and the better way is charity in us, Christ in us, who teaches us all things, reveals all, so we go and do like the Apostles and Himself, to lay our lives down, and the pastors and priests in churches cant tell man that, or they would be seen to be vain to have nobody but the selfish left inhabiting their buildings. ( charity seeks not her own and so does lay their lives down. 1 John 3:16)
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
But, have you ever been involved with starting a new church and all that it involves? No it's not. It is called graft. Hardly a day goes by that I am not studying something.
