Would Jesus Get Banned On A Present Day Christian Forum?

But He always speaks in a way that can not be attacked. I can't explain that other than to say, He is GOD. When He speaks, He is nice guy and has such compassion and empathy and love in the way He talks that it is coming right from His heart.

So the only people who could become angry at what He might say, are unbelievers. And light repels darkness. When the sun comes up, it does not have to rebuke the darkness to get it to leave. Here comes the light, there goes the darkness. What goes faster than the speed of light?
Darkness. But that is Jesus, let's face it. ALL OF US DUMB HUMANS HERE ARGUING ALL THE TIME can't think or be perfect in our walk like Jesus was. In fact I suspect the course was designed for all to fail! His ways are above our ways. His thoughts, above our thoughts.

No Troll could touch Jesus! When a troll says ban this new guy jesus, I bet somehow it works out that he doesnt. Maybe the troll does, ideally. I bet if Jesus got trolled on a forum that He just might speak to the man! And if you think that Jesus couldn't touch them with His words right through the computer! Banned?? That was stupid question, lol. He doesn't talk like that. He is impeachable!
You know what Jesus did, he taught in one place, moved on to another 'forum' and on He went away from the trolls, even preaching from the cross and quoting from the Psalms. You did well to say what you did in red.

I think that is significant. Jesus was still in OT times when He was here and calling them out as Satan and vipers.

Times change. It's a new culture with a politically correct approved word list, Son of the Devil is not an approved phrase in todays world. W're new covenant now and He's trying to teach us how to love people and God. And Jesus is bright enough to not use the N word, Lol! (or whatever). SO He would not get banned.
Wow... you know better than God what He would say.
Interesting.

This is a good question. They are not in charge of purging sin because man can not do that. Only God can forgive sin. Banning people or censoring their content selectively would be a sin. Sin is a personal thing and not everyone are trolls but the admins do have to play Marshal Dillon and it's always a judgment call. Ideally, a spirit filled Christian makes the call but that's not always the case. It's spiritual warfare. The internet is a huge medium so the trolls are many.

I think Internet forum Moderator has to make the list for most crummy jobs there is! Everyone is fighting on the internet. More than it used to be. Something is happening lately? Not merely the forum, I mean across the board.
Yeah something is happening... it's called the red horse of Revelation.

2 Timothy 2:24-26
English Standard Version
24 And the Lord's servant[a] must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

Fascinating how that wouldn't apply to Jesus or His Disciples... why would that be?
They raised all kinds of trouble... and then Paul advises Timothy to be different.
Maybe that verse doesn't apply to this exact conversation.

I think "raising all kinds of trouble" had more to do with them spreading the gospel when it was against the law than anything else.
There are times they weren't necessarily "gentle"..... but most of the time they were. We can't point to a few examples and then say it's fine to be a jerk for no reason based off it.

edit: Since this could be easily misconstrued, no, it's not a slight against anyone here.

And I haven't made that claim.
But would being a "jerk" once or twice on a message board get impulsive Peter booted? Yep.
Is it better to tell the hard truth or be polite? The ToS says be polite above all.
So yes... Jesus and the Apostles would not be welcome on a Christian forum with ToS that places "niceness" above truth.

You can speak the truth and still be nice. The times where you can't be nice is the exception rather than the rule.

Also, no one gets banned on here for being a jerk "once or twice", it has to be a continued pattern of behavior. Goodness knows I've gotten in trouble with the staff a couple times.

If that is what you get from reading the Gospels... then we must have different Bibles.
"He speaks in a way that can't be attacked"... but He was attacked... often.
"He is a nice guy"... but He was despised and rejected. "Brood of vipers" is a nice guy remark? "Your father is the devil"... sounds like a "nice guy" to me.

Doesn't it say, it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Living God...? The Lord taking vengance upon who He will because those people are disobedient to His word has very little if any to do with the others who are obedient to the Lord and so become under grace and blessings. It doesn't mean that He is not a nice guy if He punishes a child of His whom He loves. His present day stragety is not the same one He used in 30 AD.

So you say God is a changing god and fickle in His ways.
Strange tack to take.

Would also point out, they were harshest towards the religious leaders of the time, and typically more gentle with the oppressed-and-looked-down-on categories, even the known sinners.
So they would be banned as the mods and admins on forums are seen as the religious leaders of the site.
You are making my point for me.
