No, it originated from Father God ----who is love 1 John 4,8 ----- Moses was just a postman, a messenger if you will, carrying that message to Israel from God.

So when Lucifer coveted to sit on God’s throne, it was sin, before there was ever any human beings created?

In 5:17-18, Matthew 22:37-40, Matthew 7:12, Luke 10:28, Mathew 7:21, Mark 3:35, Luke 6:36-38, Matthew 25:31-46, 1 John 4:8,16 lies the entire message of the Bible. Everything spoken of in the Bible right down till the judgment, and till the New Jerusalem comes down ( and the crucial question for many, who will be saved and who will not be saved), revolves around these verses-- in my humble opinion.
"We will get on the last day what we gave to others" was then the perfect justice spawned, established, and delivered by the Holy Trinity. Keeping that vital salvation requirement Jesus repeatedly taught/ warned/ cautioned us to learn to Love God and all other human beings.
Once a Christian truly understands the depth of this message they will have only love and blessings for others, as God and the Lord Jesus wanted ( and taught).
Submitted with hope and love. Because I genuinely believe it's getting a tad late in the day brother JLB for ( most) Churches to change the teachings they have been teaching for the last 500 years--- even as the last time has descended on mankind and the promised judgment has now been initiated. Can only pray to the Father for compassion and mercy on all /\

"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged.
Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap.

For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you!”
(Luke 6: 36-38)

What I’m wanting you to see, is Abraham walked in obedience to God, in keep His laws and commandments, by faith, 430 years before Moses was given the law.

Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.
Genesis 26:5

The covenant the Lord made with Abraham, had laws and commandments that Abraham learned directly from the Lord, because Abraham walked with the Lord in His presence;
Abraham walked before Him, and was blameless.

Abraham learned from the Lord, by drawing near to Him, the way He desires us to do, in which we learn to obey what He asked us to do, by faith.

The law of Moses was not of faith. The children of Israel told God they did not want to hear His Voice, but for Him to speak to Moses.

Yet the law is not of faith, but “the man who does them shall live by them.”
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:12-14

This is the Commandment that the Lord gave Abraham, by which he was enabled and empowered to obey everything the Lord said to him.

When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
Genesis 1:1-2

  • walk before Me and be blameless

Walk with Me in My presence and be blameless.
Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

As Abraham walked with the Lord, he learned from Him, just the same way Adam was supposed to. The Lord is the tree of life.

We're not told WHEN Lucifer's fall happened - but he was already in position to "Entice" Eve in the garden - about the forbidden tree. When you "forbid" something, human nature automatically starts to lust for it.

Brother JLB and everyone here,
I would like to share this bit :)
Exodus 31:18:
When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.

Jeremiah 31:33
(referenced also by author of Hebrews in Hebrews 10:16):
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the LORD.
I will put my Law in their minds
and write it on their hearts
.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people

The Law that Father God wrote on the two tablets of stone and gave to Moses for Israel, is the very Law put on the tablets our Hearts and Minds and will always be there. This was confirmed emphatically by God the Son (Matthew 5:17-18). For, Jesus says universe can go, but the Law given by God cannot go. But Jesus taught us to FULFILL the Law, its obedience requirements, in no uncertain terms in 22:37-40 and repeats that in Matthew 7:12. It was when we turn away from sin and turn to Love—practicing Loving- compassion, that we meet the Obedience requirement of entire Law, and teachings of the Prophets
He also says the same thing to the teacher of the Law in Luke 10:28.

Finally on the Judgment day, Christ the Judge of mankind, to whom as we know all authority has been given on Heaven and on earth Matthew 28:18 used the SOLE metric / criterion of Acts of Loving Compassion in Matthew 25:31-46.

Grace was given only to those who gave grace. All others were rejected. An idol worshipping non-believer, the Good Samaritan was also saved for that reason. Not only was He sabed but the Lord lifted Him high, like a beacon in the sky.

To me this is Vision of the judgment given by none other than Christ is an event which waiting to happen. Whether we accept or deny it will still/ yet happen. Nobody in the Universe has the power to stop that event from happening ( Matthew 28:18)-- since it’s a future day vision given by Christ Himself. And the only Criterion Christ used for judgment were Acts of Loving compassion to determine who goes to heaven and who is locked out for an eternity.

The whole message according to my inference is captured in one word KARUNA ( loving compassion) . For Love is the opposite of Sin as revealed by proverbs 10:12 and 1Peter 4:8). For the Word reveals cause of all human ills and curses of god on mankind is Sin. And it is Love that covers all sin. So Jesus was once again absolutely spot on, about His greatest commandments and His justice on the last day! :) ( Both had love at its epicenter)

Paul would have done Christ much better service had he pointed at Loving -Compassion that wills save rather than the doctrine ( he taught) “Grace by faith alone….”

Keeping these revelations in mind I wholeheartedly reject that we are dead to the Law, or we are released from it , or we are now not under Law but “Grace”( something Jesus never even uttered from his mouth)

To me the Law of God is written on my Mind and Hearts and if I may say so is it’s also on my very soul and existence. To me it’s the most beautiful thing in this whole wide world.

As David delighted in the Law of God (Psalm 119:16, Psalm 40:8 ) I also delight in it. David declares in Psalms 19:7-9 that “God’s laws are perfect. They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light. God’s laws are pure, eternal, just”.

That’s precisely how I regard the Law of God. Why would anyone want to kill such a beautiful thing as the Law of God? Keeping all this in mind I’m not in any position to accept any other view --- especially that of Paul that the Law is dead we are now under “Grace”. And I state this most respectfully. I wish not to impose my interpretations on anyone, nor influence anybody.

So I issue this disclaimer ( as I used to when I made statements on stock investment website :) ------

All stated above are MY opinion, my interpretations , my views, and my take on what I get from studying the Word of God. I wish not to impose my views on or opinions on anyone here. Please do your own due diligence before believing anything .

All this being said and also the fact that the Concept of Love touching the depths of my heart, I also must be sensitive to the feelings of brothers and sisters in Christ here. I understand that my views on Paul hurt many feelings and therefore I’m making a heavy hearted decision – I will not be writing posts here anymore. As it is I have written almost 500 posts! :) So calling it a day. Its just not fair to write and hurt feelings of all ( possibly everybody here) who accept Paul as apostle of Christ. If I share and teach Love and Compassion ( even when I evangelize) I MUST practice it as well . And therefore I voluntarily choose not to write any more posts here.

I also take this opportunity to thank Stove Bolts and other owners / moderators including JLB ( from whom I learned lots) for allowing me the opportunity to share my views on this wonderful platform where we meet and share with a thought to serve our Lord and edify each other . So thank you Stove for not kicking me out for my “rebellious” views especially about Paul. Your awesome Stove because ( not only did you suffer me so long! :) but also one of the rare, rare, v rare, people/ pastors/ elders who hesitates to collect tithes/ donation in the name of the Church. God bless you brother for rejecting Mammon and serving the Lord ( Matthew 6:24).
I will continue to support this ministry, and get edification by reading posts here. Many posters here are just amazing! :) I will continue to study and read whenever I come here

So departing ( writing-wise only! ) in Love, and with lots of blessings on every once. Apologies to everyone I may have hurt feelings of, and profound thankfulness to everyone from whom I learned from. ( Hope you liked my valedictory speech!:) )

God bless everyone before I tear up (more!)

For, Jesus says universe can go, but the Law given by God cannot go.

This is not what Jesus said.

Here are His words:

Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
Matthew 5:17-18

  • one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.

Did Jesus fulfill the law?

But plenty of denominations teach that it has to be FAITH PLUS WORKS.

Which ones?
I'm familiar with 3 and here's what I think the problem is:

They all 3 believe that we are saved by faith only.
Both in the O.T. and the N.T. it's faith that saves us.

This would be justification. God declares us saved and a part of God's Kingdom. (here on earth).

The problem is that sanctification comes immediately after justification and sanctification includes good deeds/works, as is taught by the N.T.

You're right that our good works are a result of our faith and justification....but we also cannot say that we can be saved and have no good deeds/works. Good works become necessary after sanctification. Jesus said we would be judged by our deeds.... I see you didn't reply to my question to you regarding
John 5:28-29
28“Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,
29and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

"Good works" are the NATURAL RESULT of being saved, but NOT a contributor to it. As James points out, if you SAY you have "FAITH", but what you CALL FAITH produces nothing in the way of God works, then your FAITH isn't FAITH at all. As Spurgeon put it: A "Faith" that doesn't CHANGE a person, won't SAVE them either.

Agreed.

John 5 is OLD TESTAMENT. And since NOBODY DOES GOOD, then the question is academic. It Just points out the need for a SAVIOR, since NO HUMAN will make it on their own merits.
Oh sorry. Is this your reply to John 5:28-29?
It's O.T.?
Jesus said it. Does this mean we could discard what Jesus said if we don't agree with it?
What Jesus stated is academic??

Every born again believer will make it on their own merits.
I remember Jesus telling us all we're to do to be saved.
I don't remember Him saying that we just need Him as our Savior and all will be fine.
Matthew 25 comes to mind.

Jesus died on the cross for us...that was His part.
We also have a part and I don't think it should be downplayed since Jesus didn't down play it and spent over 3 years teaching how we're to behave to remain a part of the Kingdom.

Hi RS,
I can't read everything you and the other member have been saying to each other.
I'll say that I can agree with all you've said above.
I do want to add that I believe you're misunderstanding Paul like many do.
Many think Jesus taught the Law and Paul taught salvation by faith alone.

Faith alone is what saves us.
Immediately after faith we begin our journey as born again believers and this journey requires obedience to God's laws.
Which laws?
The 613 laws that we can call the Law of Moses is not for Christians and those that came to know God through the New Covenant.
The 10 Commandments are the moral law and this was given by God to Moses and this law will never pass away.
Jesus said our righteousness must surpass that of the Pharisees and Scribes. Jesus meant that we are not only to obey the Law...but we must obey it with our heart --- in faith and love.

Indeed, in the New Covenant God HAS written the law on our hearts. Jesus said we are to love God, love our neighbor as ourselves. This love covers all the law.

I'm not understanding why you had to write the above post. Due to time restraints I just can't read everything.

I do urge you to study Paul again. Please notice that in all of his letters he exhorts Christians to behave properly. It's the easy believism crowd that would like to say that Paul teaches grace only, but this is not true.

What I get from the Word, especially from the message of Christ, is not what is typically believed. To avoid causing any rift of disturbance here ( because I love you guys) I decided to bow out. Here is link to my YouTube video (from the Ministry which I founded ) . It's self explanatory and if you view it you'll understand why it's not fair to you guys, if I participate here. My take of the salvation doctrine of Christ is vastly different from what is conventionally taught in churches. Therefore I made a decision to not contribute -----except for this post :)

I have one question for you, which I'm not absolutely sure about.

Do you believe that a person that is loving, compassionate, and lives for this will be saved even if they have no faith in God?

And, I hope you don't "bow out".

I see nothing in your posts that is heretical.

Yes, I believe they will be saved. Good samaritan is an example. Goats n sheep Judgment day are another evidence

A double minded man may try to live under two separate covenants.
I choose the one that can free me from sinning.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 King James Version

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

To get Free from Sin you must follow exactly and painstakingly what Elohim/God Demands and Commands. Those that have not heard of Elohim's/God's Highly Exalted and Incomparable Standards are under the Strong Delusion that they are not Sinners or are Worshiping the Devil/Satan Enjoying Sin.

When the Jews rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem soon, which High Priest will you answer to? Their High Priest here on Earth or Christ the High Priest above all? Do you plan to go there(Temple) and offer animal sacrifices?

These are good questions. Is it possible for Messiah/Christ to be in Earthly High Priest?

I can agree with you that those that believe they do not sin do not understand the high standards of God.
He is all Holy and only complete holiness will satisfy Him.

Of course this is impossible for us and God knows this as He knew Adam would sin and would disobey.
This is why God made a plan for our escape through Jesus and His mighty sacrifice for all mankind - those who wished to take advantage of it and be a disciple of Jesus.

Hi RS....
You didn't really answer my question to you.
I did watch some of the video (not all of it).

I still don't understand and please answer the following question...
Do those that practice loving kindness and compassion also need faith in order to be saved?
Or do you mean that everyone who practices loving kindness and compassion will be saved
whether or not they have faith in God (or believe in God).

This would clear up a lot.
I find that faith is needed for salvation - both in the OT and the NT.
Would you agree that we need faith AND to be loving and compassionate?

To get Free from Sin you must follow exactly and painstakingly what Elohim/God Demands and Commands. Those that have not heard of Elohim's/God's Highly Exalted and Incomparable Standards are under the Strong Delusion that they are not Sinners or are Worshiping the Devil/Satan Enjoying Sin.
Do you feel it is impossible to obey all of the Lord's commandments?
That does seem to be your message, as you fight against my avowals that I don't commit sin since my rebirth from God's seed.
Love God above all else, and your neighbor as you love yourself.
It isn't that hard.
Especially when you consider that the "flesh" is gone and we can walk in the Spirit instead. Plus we have the gift of the Holy Ghost in us to guide us.

Praise be to the holy One of God, Jesus Christ !!!

Sister Wondering
Based on what the savior of mankind says and did, I believe the following :
Based on Christs account of Good Smaritan those that practice loving kindness and compassion do NOT need faith in Christ in order to be saved says Jesus. Good Samaritan was part pagan and an idol wosrhipper who had no relationship with Jesus at all. Yet Jesus lifted him high like a beacon in the sky! Question is why? Because His heart was filled with Love and Compassion---KARUNA
Same story with the SHEEP who got saved in Matthew 25:31-46. Many of thses are not likely Chrsitians --- remember ALL nations had gathered in front of Judge Christ on the last day. The judge saved only THOSE who had acts/ works of Loving-kindness (KARUNA) . Everyone else was rejected. Didnt you giuss it by now sister wondering ? the whole story of Bible revolves around one word.... LOVE. That's the elephant in the room that was ignored. Due to heresy of the Pharisee.
