His church wrote the New Testament under the inspiration of the HS
2 pet 1:21
That sounds wrong too.
Persons wrote the letters and gospels.
The church formed.
They became members of that church -
I mean, they were members of the church that formed...
Then, eventually, the church canonized the books that were to become part of the NT.

I'd say this is the correct way of stating it.
Otherwise the way you say it sounds like some group actually wrote the NT.

Not anymore. Their authority was removed at the cross - Colossians 2:15-23.

The Catholic church seems to think that authority still exists and that they have it!
Good point. Why? Cos Christ said so! Matt 21:43 Jn 15:1-5 Matt 16:18-19 Jn 20:21-23 eph 2:20
Isa 22:21-22
Is Christ the king?
Does he have a kingdom?
Are all subject to his rule?
Thanks

Christ rules in the heart of every born again believer. Not the Catholic church, lol.

I want to say this....
You're an intelligent fellow -
Most persons are able to read the bible and discern what it all means if we, here on this forum, have a problem in that we all understand different concepts by reading the same bible.

Now, I've been complaining about this for a while now - even while you were away.
But I think it's a serious problem, but I don't have the solution for it.

I had even started on thread on why we need a Protestant Pope...
I guess then all the forums would closes down!
: (
Hard pass.

The Anglicans have that ,the archbishop of Canterbury.

Ta da.

And we have several Anglican branches.the African branch Broke off and also I's charismatic and high church .

See white churches are quite ,God is serious ,he is somber .he might be awakened if we shout praises ,clap and dance ,that's a no no.
In Latino and black churches they run ,shout and dance .they ,even the non charismatic churches.i know because my older churches were in the poor black community of Gifford and I visited old segregated era ones.

God healed and delivered me.praise GOD,and they just start all clapping and shouting and beating drums .

Versus the white Baptist church.one amen, praise the Lord and turn that hymnal.

I'm hardly anti hynal but my church isn't quite estatic in worship .orderly it ought to be .heaven isn't quiet but loud as they toss those crowns and sing and bow!

Yes the apostles who are the church eph 2:20

1) Christ founded a church to teach and sanctify all men unto eternal salvation: the true faith and religion is “reveled by Christ”.

2) God handed out a collection of books and sent you on a spiritual scavenger hunt to fund the truth:

The proposition of scripture alone means alone nothing added, that includes reading, interpretation, meaning, etc.

Thanks

Are all believers able to command me per Matt 28:20?
Are all believers able to forgive and absolve me of sin in the name of God per Jn 20:23?

Funny Jason.

The Anglicans don't even know if they're Protestant or Catholic.
It's practically a made up denomination to please King Henry.
That doesn't count as Pope of Protestantism!
LOL

I wouldn't be so quick to damn them .
Yes it it's problem but ahem

The Holy Roman Empire was ruled by who?

Do you really want to have every view so regulated that any disagreement is cause for a heresy?

I may not agree with my larger brothers church he attends as they ordain women and also use a Rock type worship .but they are a Godly church.

You judged the whole lot .

Oh that's a group who isn't sure started by man
Also same group who started the English bible.im sure the blacks in Savannah who were slaves and built there two old churches that still are active wouldn't understand the Latin in the nearby only Catholic church at the time .

The charter of ga allowed Catholics and Jews to go there and have freedom but only live and do that there .

For it's faults the Anglican did do the Bible right .there is several types of them low and high church. I mentioned the high church Africans .strange to me but I know a retired army chaplain who refused any American ordainment because of the way they are here.he is against non denominational churches and a bit more friendly to the Orthodox and Catholic then I would ever be .

He goes to congo often .

Are all believers able to command me per Matt 28:20?
Paul seems to think so...

14I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, brimming with knowledge, and able to instruct one another.
Romans 15:14

16Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom
Colossians 3:16

Are all believers able to forgive and absolve me of sin in the name of God per Jn 20:23?
Again, Paul seems to think so...

7...you ought to forgive and comfort him
10If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him.
2 Corinthians 2:7-10
