It’s not biblical!

Darby only using his own commentaries. Are we to believe man, or believe what God has already had the Prophets and Disciples to write.

And are you being SARCASTIC to me?
No, I am trying to show you and others that of what JW believe that comes from the Watch Tower and not from God.
How do I know these teachings are false, because my sister was a hard core JW, but got out of it quickly when she had the truth reveal to her comparing the JW Bible with the KJV and NIV. Unless one has a trained eye to see the difference it would appear as the KJV we use. They can take just one word in a verse and change it to support the Watch Tower's teachings.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are not allowed to salute the flag of any nation, recite the pledge of allegiance, stand for or sing the national anthem, run for public office, vote, or serve in the armed forces.

I liked your statement about the trained eye.
This is why it's so important to know our faith and its core beliefs.

It's so easy to indoctrinate someone that has little or no knowledge. Your sister was lucky to have you. Once a person is a JW, it's very difficult to get out. This is true for all cults.

Actually my sister left this occult after being brought up with the KJV and then comparing the Watch Tower Bible to that as some things they teach did not set well with her. She was the one that showed me the difference between the two Bibles and then I searched what JW was all about and what they did not believe in which for one thing is the Trinity.

What in Christ's name is 'external forensic justification', lol?
That’s what Protestantism teaches at least the so-called reformed theology folks say,

Only declared just: not really just:

Not real:
Not really justified.
Not really born again.
Not really brought to life in Christ.
Not really transformed into righteousness or made holy by sanctifying grace.
Not really righteous

Only a declaration?

Does this make God a party to a lie?
To say we are something we are not, to say we are just, born again, brought to life, righteous, or holy when we are really not.

Christ is the truth and cannot deceive or be deceived. Jn 14:6

Christ’s words are eternal and cannot have a hint of error:

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Jesus Christ really and truly meant what he said:

Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jn 1:16-17
16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Jn 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

“Really have life of God’s sanctifying grace, the life of God in us”

Eph 2:1 & 2:5
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

“Really brought to life in Christ”

Jn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Paul seems to think so...

14I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, brimming with knowledge, and able to instruct one another.
Romans 15:14

16Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom
Colossians 3:16

Again, Paul seems to think so...

7...you ought to forgive and comfort him
10If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him.
2 Corinthians 2:7-10
Teach is not the same as command
Forgiving each other is not the same as absolving before God
Thanks

Protestantism does not teach this, but only the word of God teaches us about those who only have an outward form of Godliness.

2Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Tim 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
2Tim 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Only God can absolve our sins through that of Christ Jesus who is our mediator before God.

1Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1Tim 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
1Tim 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Tim 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
1Tim 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are not allowed to salute the flag of any nation, recite the pledge of allegiance, stand for or sing the national anthem, run for public office, vote, or serve in the armed forces.
Additionally, they cannot accept transfusions (blood). JWs are clearly a cult that distorts the truth in Christ.

Where have we heard that argument before?

Matthew 9:1-8 ---> And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to his own city. And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, my son; your sins are forgiven.” And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming.” But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil inyour hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” And he rose and went home. When the crowds saw it, they were afraid, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Now, fast forward to Easter. After His death and resurrection, on the evening of Easter, our Blessed Lord appeared to the Apostles and breathes on them. This is rather significant itself given it is only the second time in Scripture where God literally breathes onto man - the first being when He breathed life into Adam. When Jesus breathes on them, He imparts on them the Holy Ghost, and then gives them the authority to forgive sins. St. John records the event as follows...

"On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, 'Peace be with you.' When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, 'Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.' And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.'” (John 20:19-23)

The Church is an extension of the Incarnation. This is Christianity 101.

You think Jesus IS God....

You think Jesus IS God....
If you would have read those scriptures I gave then you would know what I believe. But I do know what you believe that is governed by the Watch Tower Society, which you have every right to believe, even though you will be opposed by others who do not agree with their doctrines.

We are to forgive those who sin against us just like the disciples were taught to forgive others their sin against them, but when it comes to salvation we repent before the Lord Christ Jesus who is our mediator before the Father who forgives us our own sin when we repent of them. No man can exonerate us of our own sin.
