I have recently learned that the Bema Seat is for believers who receive rewards and are not judged on sin but righteousness. The Great White Throne Judgement is for unbelievers that are also judged and then throne into the lake of fire. My question is, should believers live in fear or worry or be scared of Jesus on that day. Will Jesus have mercy on his believers, and have us judged accordingly to our good works. If I had it my way, I would skip the judgment part and run over to him and give him a big hug and just say ty Lord. ty ty ty! TBSJ vs. TGWTJ.

fear as in scared? NO fear as in respect? YES we will all give account of the good and bad--2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. the bema seat judgement I THINK... will be missed opportunities our works will be judged by fire if what we built with is wood hay stubble ( this represents the flesh) will burn in the test of fire. but if we have built with gold stone precious metals( represents the spirit) they have stood the fire and have strength

YES we will all give account of the good and bad--2 Corinthians 5:10

Are believers judged at the Bema for the good and bad they did BEFORE being saved or only AFTER being saved.

Bema is for rewards our sins are under the Blood. if one stands before the white throne judgement .its the point of no return . look the our spiritual crowns we can get 1. The Crown of Life 2.The Incorruptible Crown 3. Crown of Righteousness 4.Crown of Glory . ya need to study this out.

Ezra, next question. I have been studying. I found a 1 hr youtube video of helpful information on the Bema seat and the GWT. Also, what and how does the judgment look like. Is there a long line of people standing and waiting at his throne. Does Jesus himself ask us questions, as in why did you do that you ol' knucklehead. Will he talk to us.

Nevermind, sorry to bother you. moving on to anyone who feels like I'm not a burden. Next question, what about all these atheist people that don't believe in God or a GWTJ. I guess their in for a big surprise, no?

Interesting article at the below link

Excerpt below

Is this doctrine of a "Bema Seat Judgment" invented to be the believer's motivation to work? Are believers truly motivated by a desire for rewards (above and beyond the reward of inheritance in our salvation in Christ) in the kingdom of heaven? The answer is an emphatical, no! And to have a doctrine that postulates our possible loss of rewards if our works on earth are not up to standards, bridges on the heretical.

Rather than have the Christian be motivated to persevere through love, this doctrine actually threatens our future reward at the bema seat based upon our good, or not so good works. So despite all objections to the contrary, this is a doctrine that promotes "Merit" rather than "Grace," and it makes a total mockery of the passages (divinely inspired of God) that clearly demonstrate that our reward in heaven cannot be by both by Grace of God, and by our own merit.

yup the great white throne judgement is the finial judgement.

speaking of rewards/ crowns we simply take them and cast at the feet of jesus Revelation 4:10-11
New King James Version (NKJV)
10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, O Lord,[a]
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Gods GWT judgement is for those who are already condemned to that of the lake of fire by rejecting His grace. Those who stand at the judgement seat of Christ are already judged as they stand sinless as they are made righteous by that of Gods righteousness, corruption has now put on that of incorruption and mortal has put on that of immortality, 1 Corinthians 15:54. They will be rewarded for their good works that Christ has done through them as they being good stewards of Gods word and in His will, will here those great words of Matthew 25: His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Fear means to respect God in all His judgements as being fair and just. As in a twinkling of an eye will Christ return for His Bride as then all judgements will have been made in an instance and no one given a second chance. The Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of men/women and when we the bride are taken up so is the Holy Spirit leaving no witness left on Earth.

There are 2 resurrections...each with it's own judgment. God will judge His own house first....some will be honoured and some dishonoured. After the millenium, the GWT judgment takes place for the nations...some to life and some to the second death in the lake of fire.

So there are 2 judgments with 4 possible outcomes...honour or dishonour in the one and life or death in the other.

dishonor? GWT, some to life? 4 possible outcomes?

I have recently learned that the Bema Seat is for believers who receive rewards and are not judged on sin but righteousness. The Great White Throne Judgement is for unbelievers that are also judged and then throne into the lake of fire.
The language of Rev 20 simply does not allow for any such distinction. Believers and unbelievers alike will appear before Jesus as the Great White Throne Judgement.

Blessings Free, others are telling me the GWTJ is for unbelievers only.

I think it is a false distinction:

Rev 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.
Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
Rev 20:15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. (ESV)

There really is no room to say that only unbelievers will appear before the Great White Throne.
