    Salvation is not being addressed in Heb 6. If you would continue to read in v9 the author says he is speaking of things that accompany salvation. Rewards are at stake, not salvation.

    No believer can become an unbeliever. It may appear this way to our human eyes, but God searches our heart. Only He knows our true condition. That person you speak of wasn't saved in the first place or is in a temporary backslid-in state.

    Non of those verses speak of being on the sidelines. we either inherit the kingdom or we don't. Peter is warning in 2 Peter 2:1 that false teachers had secretly introduced heresies and that many would follow them. They were never believers.
