they are overpriced and overhyped. I do go to them. lol. to ensure they are charged for electricity. I went to them regularly at ft. lewis when they weren't so outrageous. seattle , where they are from isn't going to allow them rape the local over there so called coffee, lattes and frappachinos. here the ignorant will flock there and be raped. my wife does go to them from time to time. I kinda slowed that down with my stories of large two stories coffee houses in Washington. she then started to really look at the price verse quality of their coffee and went other places. she likes coffee from a place called fresh market and they sell it there or in bags for home and work usage. I got her into cold coffee which was from starbucs and also ihop customers did that.

Yes,Seattle Washington is the birthplace of Starbucks and coffee.I know people who make 3 or 4 trips a day to get those fancy coffee drinks.That adds up.What a waste.

the foger's coffee house is where I wanted to go but never got a chance. there hasn't been any of that in starbucks. in that theres music and art and so forth while tea/ coffee is served. lol those tend to be hippieish, but not always. here we had one and it wasn't bad.

young? my wife's children to include Julie ,aged 15, drink coffee. atummn like it so strong I call it tar with caffeine.

lol. I feel old when I recall vero and the youth are like what? that was what when? like the mall being orange groves, homes that were used for haunted houses that are gone.

I too am a barista. My standard of latte art isn't up to that yet though.

My daughter who worked with a barista artist said it is not that easy and takes creative talent.My daughter could do the simple art.
