state of florida health codes and all 50 are and any ordicance can be found from any town. village or city at municode. comDo you see similar codes of practice and regulation in parlors your way, maybe? I think the official view in many areas has developed to seeing the need for regulation.
Blessings.
a kiosk in the mall is held to the same health standards.I can understand why many people prefer to go to a tattoo/piercing parlor to have their ears done, rather than going to a kiosk in the mall.
Blessings.
They might have to uphold the same health standards but they are much more risky....a kiosk in the mall is held to the same health standards.
when I had my ear pierced in a parlour it got infected. its not like they were much better then. it wasn't. If I recall that was jewelry/pawn and tattoo and piercing place. he did them all at the same place. he had it partitioned but still. They might have to uphold the same health standards but they are much more risky....

Not pierced and no intention of being so.Paul1965: What are your thoughts? wouldn't you prefer to be pierced in a parlor (earrings, etc.) rather than a kiosk?
Blessings.
actually its the reverse. You pay more in a tattoo/piercing parlor, but far better to get earrings put in there, right?
Kind of, you get what you pay for...
Blessings.

But if i was, it would depend on the kiosk. You can't brand them all the same just as you cant rate all parlors the same. So many variables. If they had good hygiene and equipment, age doesn't really come into it, it's skill.
Its the same with artists that have been doing ink for years but are scrachers, you can have experience, but no skill just as you can have skill but no experience.
No apologies necessary mate!
