Believe in God, you will be saved

1 Jn 2:2. According to your understanding means that EVERYBODY will be saved since he is the propitiation for the sins of the whole world. Yes, good exegesis.
If Billions have not heard the gospel its not Gods fault. It is because these people for hundreds and hundreds of years have turned the gospel away. I read a book here recently that explained what one prominent country did to missionaries and the gospel message years and years ago. They did not want there people to worship a God more then the current administration. They looked at that as a threat so they ran them out. Now, If generation after generation goes without hearing the gospel its not Gods fault that they are lost. They had their opportunity and they failed. There are plenty of places today which are not hospitable to Christians. This is not Gods fault.

A person is not saved because they have heard of the name Jesus Christ, they are saved if Jesus Christ lives in them, and if He does they live for Christ not themselves.

Random verses:

Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Philippians 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Hebrews 10: 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Its no different then Jn 3:16. God so loved the world. But this doesn’t mean that the whole world will be saved just because God loves it. It is up to man to be obedient to his plan of pardon through Jesus.
It's not the same as John 3:16

What does 1John 2:2 mean?
Really, do a study on it.

I said you should study that verse.
1 John 2:2

It's rather a deep concept and not for everyone to understand.

I just studied 1 John 2:2 (I am quick)

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus is the propitiation for the sins of the whole world.

Now see 1 Corinthians 1, and we see that the world by wisdom ( before the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ) did not know God.

Now God saves those who believe by the preaching ( of the cross) to those who believe. ( it is the wisdom of God to those who are saved)

1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

It is the POWER OF GOD, THAT SAVES( the gospel)..

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Wondering, why do you know a lot of the teaching of Christ, but consider others don't need to ?

Does none of that make you see, that if we don't believe that Jesus is the Christ, we die in our sins ?

John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

We live through a good conscience ( through belief in Christ risen from the dead) which spotless blood offered for us takes away our dead conscience..

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

1 Peter 3: 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

You do know the two of you are in a forever battle, ( as both are incorrect) one shows no kindness and compassion, so the other shuts off, and the other highlights so many verses of compassion, but does not acknowledge that God has to be true in His sayings, and we wont ever be true until we can acknowledge them all.

We know how one is saved, it is by being given faith in Jesus Christ.

We know how we are not saved, because faith works by love, if we do not believe in love, we wont live in love, wont show God is in us at all.

Love is to lay our lives down, if talk is all we laid down, do you think we also will be saved ?

To know the truth is easy,k it is all told for us, to live truth is different, it is the Spirit of truth that has to dwell in us.

Again 1 John 2 speaks of Christ propitiation for our sins, but we also need the knowledge of salvation ( the knowledge of Christ) for the remission of our sins.

All of this is too simple, why fight and argue over what a person either believes in, or has denied.

Luke 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

It cant be up to man to be obedient, it is the obedience of faith and faith is the gift of God( it is up to God)

Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

2 Thessalonians 3:2 And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

Christ came to the world, now all of the world is without excuse is testified:

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Why was Noah saved?
Abraham?

Noah a preacher of righteousness and Abraham az prophet ( they had the Spirit of God in them for Gods purposes of faith)

Genesis 20:7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Do you think your almost 20000 messages is love in deed, or by talk wondering?

The verses are not a threat, not tiring they are what gives us life, to share with others.

( I can still be what is needed here if you wanted)

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
I meant that God looks at the love a man shows for his human brothers, not talk about what is the formula for salvation.
