Thanks brother.
It's a good thing that we serve a God of War. It's all over scripture. He will destroy, He could call legions of Angels...and so forth. If God was pacifist, there'd be no hope. Evil would win.
God is Love and He loves all. It probably breaks His heart to have to kill people. But it's their choice, not His to do so. Violence in not a pretty thing, nor desirable as an activity, but it is necessary at times.
That point is ignored when attitudes rule common sense. When I served three tours in Vietnam, I was often scared to death, not terrified but just under that point. Every 18, 19 or lying 17 year old of mine that was lost as my LORDreminded me, every time, that one's mother is now a Gold Star Mother loaded with, streams of tears. Just as my LORD guarded over me, it was my duty to get those crazy young men home to see their mommas and in a unit where 3.5 men died every week it, often, require my .45 Cal. Grease Gun, both my .38 S&W and my .357 Python and I needed to be very good to get anyone home.
There are a few scriptures that, when isolated, can be used, incorrectly, to prove that men and women must just kneel down and allow evil to prevail. When scripture is read as it is written, in it's context, that case cannot be made.

Add to that the lesson I learned in Germany and the Ear Ticklers are a deadly force for evil. What lesson? Oh, sorry 'bout that... NOT! To successfuly sell a lie to the general population one needs only include, more or less, 10% of the truth with it and the lie becomes truth to almost every man.
When we are saqve we are in service to or LORD, we are in the LORD's Army and the foreign issue here is, "There is no reason for fear, none at all." Though the natural man fears, we must learn to stop quenching the Spirit and allow ourselves the free usage by God of our bodies, after all, we cannot be killed.
