Day of the Lord

Noble

Whoops. The last trump is pretty much the end of that great day of the Lord. I pointed out Matthew 13 where a number of references are given.

Hello Noble

The last trump starts the Day of the Lord,it's the beginning of the millennium,ie 1000 years.....

Will respond to the rest of your post later...

You said "the age of the flesh" would be over.

The "end of the age" in scripture NEVER referring to anything like gnosticism. And scripture shows a distinction between the "flesh" & the "body."

That was Greek mythology that the soul survives apart from a body in the afterlife. This was a problem for the Corinthians. Paul had to use his seed analogy to say how the dead are raised up.
Greek mythology believed in a bodiless soul in the afterlife.

This is basically what you are confounding with your repeated lack of objectivity & understanding of what we are saying.

If flesh and blood cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven, will you please tell me what body will you have........?

Job 38 King James Version
1Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

2Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

What kind of body were the sons of God in?

Revelation 6:9 "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:"

Revelation 6:10 "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord [Master], holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth."

And those in the above verse????

Finally what kind of body did Christ have before being born of woman.....

Let me help you out,it's the same as you had before you were born of woman......

Genesis 19:1 "And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground."

Genesis 19:2 "And he said, "Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways." And they said, "Nay; but we will abide in the street all night."

Genesis 19:3 "And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat."

What kind of body did these two angels have?

If flesh and blood cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven, will you please tell me what body will you have........?
First of all, Paul says "flesh & blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God" This is a reference to both earthly existence & heavenly existence. The kingdom of God is spiritual. Jesus said the "kingdom of God is inside you" - it is spiritual.

I fail to see any relevancy in these verses of Job. God is describing His omnipotence & sovereignty to Job, a man (or a son of God) on earth.

Again, irrelevant. These "souls" were in flesh & blood on earth when they were killed. John was in the "Spirit" realm of visions. It's not literal. It shows that their souls lived & were sequested in sheol till the resurrection of the dead as promised to Israel. Bringing the "many sons to glory" is about heaven & earth (literally).

Finally what kind of body did Christ have before being born of woman.....

No wonder why you're confused. First, do not compare Christ's body in the womb to any human. I wasn't spiritual before I was natural...you have that in reverse!

Let me ask you this: when you take communion, do you literally consume the body & blood of Christ?

Something to think about:
He abolished sin in his flesh the law. (old covenant of Israel) (Eph.2:15)
His blood was the blood of the new covenant.(Mk.14:24; Heb.9:20)
For redemption of sins (Eph.1:7) Through faith in His blood (Eph.2:13)

The "body of Christ" is not just a literal statement about Christ. The members of the "body of Christ" are "Christians."
The flesh & blood part of that is irrelevant. God (the Holy Spirit) is spirit.

The Kingdom will be here on earth.....Yes it is spiritual, and that's why you must be changed, that change happens at death or the 7th trump, which ever comes first.....

The point is you don't have a soul you are a soul, you were given a flesh body for this age,and at death you shall be as you were.........

Again, irrelevant. These "souls" were in flesh & blood on earth when they were killed. John was in the "Spirit" realm of visions. It's not literal. Yes they were flesh and blood on earth, and at death they were changed.....And it's very literal

1 Thessalonians 4:14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

If they I not there, how can He bring them with Him at his return? Also if He has as you say returned already, where are these people?

No wonder why you're confused. First, do not compare Christ's body in the womb to any human. I wasn't spiritual before I was natural...you have that in reverse!

Not confused at all,not even a lil bit....In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God,my question to you was, what kind of body did He have before being born of woman?

What you fail to understand,is that, all souls were created at the same time........
