Dispensationalism

Dispensationalismis an evangelical, futurist, Biblical interpretation that understands God to have related to human beings in different ways under different Biblical covenants in a series of " dispensations," or periods in history.
Wikipedia

Or is a system of theology whose adherents strive for a consistently literal interpretation of the Word of God

humanly speaking, (for the sake of others), they could have been right and wrong at the same time, from different directions or perspectives.

before Yeshua , the gentiles were without hope in the world. (right?)

after His Own People Rejected Yeshua, the door was open to the gentiles, thus providing hope for some of them. (or hope for all of them, but salvation for some of them) (or other).
(right?)

so, is that an example of 'different' relationships with human beings by Yhvh the Creator ?

Genesis 15:6
(KJV) And he believed in the LORD; and He counted it to him for righteousness.
(YLT) And he hath believed in Jehovah, and He reckoneth it to him--righteousness.
Ephesians 2:8
(KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(YLT) for by grace ye are having been saved, through faith, and this not of you--of God the gift,
Romans 1:17
(KJV) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
(YLT) For the righteousness of God in it is revealed from faith to faith, according as it hath been written, `And the righteous one by faith shall live,'

I don't see how God related salvation/righteousness differently before the cross than He has after the cross. By grace, through faith.

Everyone who believes Jesus will return and Gather His people at the Resurrection/Rapture on the last Day, is a futurist.

you mean literal when they say it is.

ie a generation standing here isn't really what jesus said. or soon or shortly.

Gee, I believe the tribulation has come and gone 1,944 years ago, and I believe Jesus will come on the final day of the earth as we know it. So, I guess I'm a Futurist.

Jason, you don't believe in the second coming? Do you believe there will be a new heaven and new earth?
im being sarcastic. of course I do. but the idea of the new heaven and new earth is different for each person. I don't see the earth and the heavens being destroyed but cleansed.

I flatly do not believe in a "New Jerusalem" as that big 1,500 square mile block of gold floating down for us to be encased inside forever. Do you know that thing would stick up 60 some miles into outer space? And have a 200 foot high fence (wall) around it...... with gates a full 500 miles apart.

not that I disagree but I the measurements are a bit difficult to understand in old English.

Well, do some quick math as you have found a cubit and furlong to be, and we'll go with that. I really don't mind................. I'm still not going to envision being forced to live in the confines of a city of hard metal for eternity.

a cubit is about 18 to 21 inches depending on which cubit is used the Egyptian one or the Canaanite one.

(I think it actually comes out to be a bit shy of a full 1,500 miles.)
