I lost my composure reading that, but that's ok.There is only one better view....Salvation!!
I feel really weird Kath.It is as clear as can be.I think you know what I was saying.
My point is that there is no good or better way to view hell. Whether you believe it is a short-lived period as some do or an eternal conscious torment as others, it is unacceptable either way and to be avoided at all costs.I lost my composure reading that, but that's ok.

K.There is only one way to view hell and that is what the Holy Bible says about it.
Matthew 3:12
Matthew 25:41
2 Thessalonians 1:9
Revelation 20:10
That was neat.My post does not sit well with my logic, please disregard it Eugene.
I still wonder about that. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. I don't know why people prefer to believe that the wages of sin is eternal torment.I used to wonder why some christians would prefer to believe in eternal torment if there was a better alternative view in the bible.
As though believing God's truth is a matter of picking and choosing. If God says that there is a second death and a Lake of Fire, then God is the only one who knows for sure, and He has good reasons to reveal this to men. If there was no Hell, there would have been no need for the Cross. Did you consider that?I still wonder about that. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. I don't know why people prefer to believe that the wages of sin is eternal torment.
yeah about that , I have about 20 ant bites on my legs. Why do you step on ants? Be more careful.
I don't think that believing God's truth is a matter of picking and choosing. Since God says there is a second death, why on earth do you not believe that there really IS a second death? A death where the wicked die permanently after having been resurrected from their first death for judgment. Do you really think that if there is no ECT in Hell there would be no need for the cross? That isn't correct. There is still a need for the cross. God's Word says whoever believes in Him shall not PERISH but will have ETERNAL LIFE. The purpose of the cross is that is where Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for sin that WE OWE. That penalty is death - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. I still don't know why people prefer to believe that the wages of sin is eternal torment instead of death as the Bible says. As you say, it is not a matter of picking and choosing. Either you believe God's truth or you don't. Have you considered that?As though believing God's truth is a matter of picking and choosing. If God says that there is a second death and a Lake of Fire, then God is the only one who knows for sure, and He has good reasons to reveal this to men. If there was no Hell, there would have been no need for the Cross. Did you consider that?
Jesus didn't leave it out why do people prefer to believe he did?

Jesus absolutely did not say that there was to be eternal conscious torment in hell, and I think that you know that He never said that. You already know those places Tim..

yo in Exodus God opens the earth and swallows up X amount of people. look up "rebellion of kora"As though believing God's truth is a matter of picking and choosing.
