Eternal hell with new creation?

The new creation theme in the Bible does not seem to go with the notion of an eternal hell. Isaiah 55 and Romans 8 teach God's renewal of the world into perfection. It is said that in the future, Christ will be "all in all." It does not seem to make sense for God's new creation, then, to have an eternal torture chamber in it. In the new creation, God returns the world to its state before sin. How can Hell be part of that intent? How can Christ be all in all, with unbelievers tortured forever?

I believe the thinking goes;
Since God is Eternal & Holy
sin against Him must be eternally punished.

That is why it took an eternal and holy God to take the punishment due us...by becoming man in our stead.
Eternity sure is a long time.
What about the idea that everything dies, ends, in the lake of fire?

Justice alone proves eternal suffering isnt literal.
Human or divine justice? Do you have the mind of God?

Figurative suffering strips suffering of its meaning.

Was Christ's death for your sins literal. Was His resurrection literal? Were His miracles literal? Or do you just pick and choose what you decide to be literal?

Man's justice might say so, but we do not follow man, but a righteous God who gives freewill to all to make their own choices. Life or death is in the power of the tongue. It's not God that damns anyone, but that individual themself. Go study the "Parable of the Weeds Explained" in Matthew 13:36-43.

Ends? Dies? Weren't they already dead?...

Revelation 20:6 (KJV) Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (Dan 12:2)

I wonder what would happen if...after Jusus's return if the entire body of Christ (us), all prayed at once for the condemned to be released?

Would God do it in His infinite mercy and love for His children? But then, what if He says if there are only 5 righteous people?! Uh Oh.
Interesting thought, but when Christ returns He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather His own to Him and there will be no second chances after the resurrection as some go to be with Him while others have damned themselves, Matthew 24:29-31; John 5:28-29.

Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

We can not go against what Jesus has already spoken. It's everlasting punishment as they who have rejected God and His Son Christ Jesus have condemned their own selves and are judged by the choices they make.

Any can say i choose life and be unrepentent. Its by ones actions= living now to do Jesus Fathers will over our own will. Matt 7:21-Jesus assures there they are the only ones that will get to enter his kingdom. Mortal man throws out the words-you are saved. Yet he cannot read anothers true heart, he has no idea if that one can endure until their end, he has never seen a single name written in Gods book of life. So in reality those words may not be truth. I say only the blind guides misleading away from Gods kingdom throw those words out.

Life or death is speaking about Spiritual life or spiritual death either accepting Jesus or rejecting Jesus. If one has no fellowship with God then that one is Spiritually dead.

Pro 18:20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

Best believe Jesus at Matt 7:21 he didnt say it for nothing.
