For the love of convenience, for the love of progress, for the love of...

Can you clarify what you mean by this? Let's pretend, for example, that a person has just discovered his place of employment is switching over to implant payment. Their whole banking scheme has switched over to this new method. Door and security will only open through this microchip implant. Payments will only be made through this implant.

A guy doesn't want the implant. He's drawn the line there, even though it means he won't be paid anymore. What do you suggest he do now? Please try to be as specific and practical as possible so the solution will be more real and viable.

Clarify what I mean? Isn't it clear? To depend on God instead of man? Does that sound far fetched or something?

What's the guy do now? He goes home. Why stick around if he isn't going to be paid, lol? I don't understand your last line. More real and viable than what, God?

What does the Word say? here are are the highlights
1Jn_2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1Jn_2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jn_4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
2Jn_1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

People have been doing that for 1,000's of years, so I think it's doable.

Hi Jesse. Sure. But I asked if that's what you plan to do when it becomes impossible to keep a job without the implant? You have a plan to live off the land? if so can you elaborate?

Give me your interpretation of those verses. Let's see if they differ from mine.

Hi Gary, I'm not sure if you understood me properly, but you posted the verses and I asked for your understanding of the connection you were making by posting those verses. I mean, you posted them. I'm asking for your reasons for why you posted them. I'm not sure why you don't just give your reasoning. It's a discussion. It's makes sense for you to give reasons for why you link verses to particular conclusions.

Hi Edward. I'm not looking for any right or wrong answer here, but just for elaboration on how you see it working. What I mean by clarify is how do you see it working in practical terms. In this day so many people talk about "trusting in God" and "depending on God" that it's become somewhat of a cliche.

In the context of this thread, we're talking about trusting in God vs trusting in a job where you only get paid by having a microchip implant in your hand for buying and selling. Most people think, "God's provision in my life takes the form of my job". If you take away the money, then what shape does the "trust in God" take after that? Most people I've ever talked to about money genuinely believe they would die without it.

With that kind of thinking, they will find it difficult to hear something like, "just trust in God" without any details on how it works in practical reality.

Ok, never mind.

You're right. :yes

Not really, when and IF the time comes I guess I"ll worry about it.

God says not to worry about tomorrow for today has enough misery of it's own - or something like that. lol

Agreed. You make choices to do what you want with your electrons. No one forces you to buy parts online. Presumably you do it because it's convenient to do so, even though you earlier talked about the benefits of cash as though that is all you really need.

You see how it works? We like to talk big and brave, but when it comes to convenience, we'll use a microchip to buy and sell. Sure. No problem. That's how online purchases work, through microchips computing the information.

At what point do you draw the line? At what point do you make a stand for your convictions despite the inconvenience it may cause? When it comes to the point of actually sitting in the doctors office with the syringe tip pressing against your skin, because it's either get the chip or lose your job? Is that when you draw the line?
some business wont take credit. should they be made because of the government. I also don't buy parts online unless its local acessable. lesson learned. I have a part problem even with that now. im awaiting for the warranty part to come in. twice that has happened. I wont buy parts from distance places.

I must ask if the federal government mandated a dna sample, bio metrics in order to have money would you go along? I think you would. and I add a chip to monitor ones health. its already feasible. the less the government or anyone that I don't want to know knows the better it is. the government can be just as bad as any crook.
cops here have taken advantage of the dl databased and used it for retribution against ex gf.

Here we go. Nothing wrong with buying and selling. We can use it to do good or to do bad. As long as the "content" of the heart is good, then buying and selling is good. And hey presto! you've got your microchip implant with no guilty feelings! Hooray!
I never said it was that way. don't assume that im against this because im a futurist. I am NOT.
1) I don't believe in any seven year trib.
2) no ac
3) no millennium with isreal.im a jewish believer
4) no temple will be built that will be holy once more.
5) no secret or mid rapture. a fly by in the clouds is a return. if an alien space ship hovered over dc, one wouldn't say that we didn't have an alien visitation.

And the majority of the world, even knowing they are being tracked through these various means, still opt to use this or that. Some people reject this method while others accept it. Some people reject that method while others accept it.

Jason bravely says he won't allow a piece of technology to influence what he does with his electrons, but he will use online media knowing that it can track information on his whereabouts and personal preferences. He knows it can and track him, but he uses it anyway.

People adapt. They accept. They learn. It's called progress. They become sensitized even when they know there are side effects to the choices they make. They eventually learn to incorporate those distasteful side effects (like tracking) as just part of the price to pay for the convenience offered.
I don't have to use fb. I have disabled that from them. when I shop at parts stores. they no longer have the ability to know what im looking for.

they gave me the option of avoiding that. some like my fil don't shop online and don't have internet nor cell phones. you talk as if we have to have that to function. we don't.alot of elderly don't.

The thing about antichrist(s) is that it will only appear to be antichrist to those who have found the real Christ. Because they are deceived, to those that follow any antichrist it must by definition appear to be christ, where 'christ' means 'anointed' by God, and not necessarily a counterfeit of the person of Jesus Christ. Most first century Jews did not recognize Jesus as Christ after the crucifixion because of their mistaken beliefs as to what they expected the promised Christ to be. This was their stumbling block. However there have ever since been innumerable pretenders happy to fill this distorted image of messiah/savior/christ to anyone of any belief system deceived enough to put their trust in them. These are anti(instead-of)christs. To single out any one antichrist in particular demands context.

I didn't have a cell phone until 2006. my wife doesn't use fb or get in the internet. she doesn't want to. I have a flip phone with some data abilities and texting and camera. it does have Bluetooth. I put a blue tooth radio in my truck. it is true that the gubberment can track me but the government isn't mandating cell phone use. unlike the idea of a cashless society as proposed.

I just got a cell phone a couple of months ago. I have a FB account but never use it, never use Twitter, Instagram - none of that. I think it's a waste of time.
