well that is a down size. we use social media right? facebook knows I post here. I have bought parts online and via data mining fb will show the part I was looking for.im not saying I don't see that but the reality is that we have to be reseonable. the problem is that we have the government which in general we think is bad and controls people. we forget that a mega corp will do that too.

I know a man whom has a smart meter connected to his home and all appliances are controlled by that device( I have a smart meter but I will NOT opt to that program). the utility can and does tell him when he can use his hot water heater, wash etc. I refuse to do that. I pay my bill. what I do with my electrons is my responsibility.

Agreed. You make choices to do what you want with your electrons. No one forces you to buy parts online. Presumably you do it because it's convenient to do so, even though you earlier talked about the benefits of cash as though that is all you really need.

You see how it works? We like to talk big and brave, but when it comes to convenience, we'll use a microchip to buy and sell. Sure. No problem. That's how online purchases work, through microchips computing the information.

At what point do you draw the line? At what point do you make a stand for your convictions despite the inconvenience it may cause? When it comes to the point of actually sitting in the doctors office with the syringe tip pressing against your skin, because it's either get the chip or lose your job? Is that when you draw the line?

That's true, we are being tracked on-line, especially if a person opts into social media. Mega corps have designed advertising to such perfection, we don't even realize the influence.

And the majority of the world, even knowing they are being tracked through these various means, still opt to use this or that. Some people reject this method while others accept it. Some people reject that method while others accept it.

Jason bravely says he won't allow a piece of technology to influence what he does with his electrons, but he will use online media knowing that it can track information on his whereabouts and personal preferences. He knows it can and track him, but he uses it anyway.

People adapt. They accept. They learn. It's called progress. They become sensitized even when they know there are side effects to the choices they make. They eventually learn to incorporate those distasteful side effects (like tracking) as just part of the price to pay for the convenience offered.

Not being allowed to buy or sell is not a huge concern for us as Christians. Non-Christians, yes, but not us. The Lord has taken all of this into consideration, and He has some Oscar Meyer hotdogs set aside for you and me.

Remember the scripture, eye has not seen nor ear heard the wonderful things that the Lord has in store for us? Well, if you think about it, This would include anything and everything that our ancestors have ever seen or done. The Lord will be doing things on earth that no one has ever seen before.

That means to care for you brother, and me. So just be ready to believe this and receive it.

Can you clarify what you mean by this? Let's pretend, for example, that a person has just discovered his place of employment is switching over to implant payment. Their whole banking scheme has switched over to this new method. Door and security will only open through this microchip implant. Payments will only be made through this implant.

A guy doesn't want the implant. He's drawn the line there, even though it means he won't be paid anymore. What do you suggest he do now? Please try to be as specific and practical as possible so the solution will be more real and viable.

It won't be possible. The people receiving that mark will believe they are worshiping God. Just as the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, these people will also have their hearts hardened to the truth.

Wait, I don't understand this logic. How is it that they can take the Mark but still think they are worshiping God? Please clarify how you see this as being possible.

The mark won't be a chip but some sort of ID 'stamp' that is permanent. At the same time, there will be a war against Christians, with Christians being the 'terrorists' of that time.

Hi AirDancer. Can you please present some evidence that the Mark will be a "ID stamp"? Is there any banking industry in the world experimenting with skin "stamps" for buying and selling?

I see many, many, many examples of banking institutions and governments all over the world experimenting with implantable chips for the purpose of banking, but nothing about "stamps".

It's a bit like someone back in '94 saying, "I think global communication is going to become more snail mail oriented, like people inventing more colorful stamps and envelopes to mail their letters. It's unlikely to be email or internet".

All you have to do it look at the evidence.

Christians won't really be terrorists....they'll merely be presented in that way in order to discredit them. Many (hopefully all) Christians won't take the mark in those days, and there will be some who will need help in one way or another. In order to prevent the marked citizens from helping the unmarked, it will be declared that Christians are responsible for all the evil doings that are occurring and therefore should be turned in.

However mans understanding of His word changes. As we grow in Christ and renew our minds God reveals more and more to us in His word. This also mean we can get a new revolation from a scripture that we already had revolation of. Still God and His word never changes....

I know nothing about Judaism. For me, the Mark of The Beast has always been a spiritual mark. When I first heard of the mark, I envisioned some sort visible mark on the body, but after much thought, it didn't seem plausible. There were too many holes to fill. A spiritual mark fills those holes and is in line with end times events.

The prophecy doesn't say anything about the Mark being visible, only that it will be in the hand or forehead and it will be used for buying and selling.

it fit in with me once I was told that but the mark of the beast can be even now. the beast is always a government. if the beast is linked to the dragon and it is then the mark is for the way the world does things. how we act with money. we can use it to bless god or to sin. we can use to to buy and idol or it be in idol. we can use it to worship god(tithing or offering) or to help others.

Here we go. Nothing wrong with buying and selling. We can use it to do good or to do bad. As long as the "content" of the heart is good, then buying and selling is good. And hey presto! you've got your microchip implant with no guilty feelings! Hooray!

Hi Gary. This is kinda why I asked you to be very specific. A lot of times people post a Bible verse thinking that solves all the issues. The problem with this is that often people have different interpretations of various Bible verses or they themselves misapply the verse.

That's why it's help for the rest of us if you give some explanation as to how you see the verses explaining your position. Can you try that now?
