has hate taken over?

I think a hospital RN for 30 years might have a pretty good idea of whether the diagnosis might be accurate.
I'm surprised a little --
as you and others have shown in posts in this and other threads, how would the nurse know??.
nurses may or may not have a good idea, but when they are confined by their job to certain ways,
they may not even consider that their boss(es) are entirely wrong.

As usual, your writing is confusing to me. She went to Mexico for the very reason that she certainly thought her bosses didn't have the right answers.

whew! that's good (she went somewhere to get right help).
we are living in a society that doesn't like its dirty laundry aired (the family i grew up with and the church certainly didn't want any of it's dirty laundry out in the open, no matter how good the results!)
(a little or a lot like "Father, forgive them(help them with Your Truth and Salvation) because they don't have a clue what they're doing ! ).
so, how can we (I) speak clearly about what Yhvh reveals when it almost certainly offends ? little by little is the only way i know for now, and that leaves a lot that is known unsaid for perhaps a long long time.

Well, I think that "truth" has a lot to do with the focused mindset of the one claiming "A" truth they think they have found.

I bring up this verse a lot ( Luke 14:26) to show that we have to do a lot more reading of the Bible than just ONE or TWO verses to understand God.

Basically, with whatever "thinking" you use to search the Scripture... that is usually what your mind will find............. whether one CLAIMS to be listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit, or not.

I mean, has hate taken over the lives of most of us (probably, hopefully, unbelievers more than believers), more so than in years past?

I was on Celia Farber's blog and read a post on why she goes to church. She goes because there's a sweetness there, a human-ness that she can't find elsewhere.

Its just...people seem so angry, all the time. TV shows celebrate self-everything. Is the church still a refuge?
Hate took over when Cain killed Abel.
Love took over when Jesus died on the cross.
