Saying you are the son of God does not make you God. It does put you in the same family to whatever the Father has. If you're a king then the son would be a prince and therefore share in the kingdom on equal ground pertaining to the kingdom. Well, let's look at 1 John 2:23...
It says denieth the Son. It does not say denieth the Son is God.

All you folks ever put in front of me are bits and pieces of words and half verses that are scattered all over the Bible. Also there's no teaching on why God would come to the earth as a man. Such a concept accomplishes nothing. Romans says a man (Adam) caused sin to enter into the world, and also that a man would have to redeem it from sin. Some theologians teach that only God could pay for the sins of mankind, but the Bible specifically says that a man must do it. The book of Corinthians makes the same point Romans does when it says “For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead” (1 Corinthians 15:21).

If there is a trinity then why not just come out and say it? Why do we have to jump all over the Bible cutting and pasting pieces of words that are scattered all over the Bible? Why not just teach it? I know enough about how the Bible is written in the New Testament and in the Gospels to know if there was a trinity it would have been taught. The Gospels would have clearly said...

Verily, verily I say unto you that I am Jesus and I'm also God.

The Epistles would have writings like...

Yay, I Paul do testify that Jesus who is God came down from heaven to be a man for us. And we do know and testify that this same Jesus who you crucified is God. And so let us bow our knee to the one and only true God-Man Jesus Christ.

And yet there's nothing like that anywhere. Not in the Old or New Testament. Not even one complete verse like that.

When you walk from point A (Mount Hermon) to a far point B (Jerusalem) using a map and compass how do you know you got to point B if you have never been there before?

You trust the map and the compass to show you the way. The map is not point B. You have to do the walk and check your position every now and then with the compass and compare it to the map.

In your case though your faulty compass (spiritual faculties) does not point towards north (The Father) but holding your map (The Bible) you are walking not towards Jerusalem (Knowledge of The Son) but towards Babylon (Knowledge of Satan).

You are walking alright P7, just not in the direction you claimed in the 1st post of this thread. Reading the map or bible is of no value to you. Your compass has been messed around with.

I can sense you are eager to walk and for knowledge I get it. I only have love for you and in the spirit of correction I have said a couple of things. Please stop your walk and wait for God to give you a new compass. From John 6:44 no one gets to Christ until the Father draws them. The Father has not called you yet to be a member of his Kingdom. That is a certainty.

Zechariah 12:1,10 "The oracle of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: Thus declares the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him. And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn."

Please, tell me you finally get it. If not, dear P7 I am done dealing with you. God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Ghost witness that I did all I could with you. I have better things to do with my time from now on.

For those of you reading this thread, here are some verses I have mentioned before from the New Testament that prove Jesus Christ is God. P7 conveniently ignored them.

Revelation 3:21: "The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne."

Revelation 4:9-10 "And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever. The twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever."

Revelation 5:8 "And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints."

But as scripture says in Eccl 3:7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;



Timothy 3:16-17All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

So in the context of which we are speaking in which you say, "you are on a higher level"

how's that been working for you ?

Well, let's look at 1 John 2:23...

Don't twist the words of the scripture. If you deny the Son, that means you deny his teachings also. Christ told us to love your neighbor as yourself and in a previous post you claimed you don't love your neighbor. That means you deny the Son. Simple as that.

We undergo a miraculous exchange at the center of our being once we have the spirit of Christ. Who we were in Adam is no longer there. We become a new person because we are now a child of God who is in Christ. The key event causing this exchange is a death, burial, and resurrection with Christ. This miraculous exchange is not figurative or symbolic, but literal and actual.

The spiritual part of every Christian has literally and actually been crucified, buried, and raised with Christ. The fact that this occurs spiritually and not physically doesn’t make it any less real. So what happens to the old self that was in Adam? The old self is entirely obliterated once the spirit of Christ enters the Christian.

Once you truly accept Christ and put on His robe of righteousness as not every spirit is of God, and Christ tells us this...

I don't follow Bullinger on any concepts he believed concerning the dead. So I don't know anything about that. Andrew Wommack is also one of my teachers who taught me a great deal about the spirit of Christ. I don't follow anything else that he teaches. I don't blindly follow men. I learn a great deal from many of them.
