In Today's News

So what is the answer. We both agree that the US system is broken.
while I agree that the idea of drugs from other countries should be allowed and doctors however, I hightly doubt the socialized medicine nations will allow or encouraged that much as they would have to compete for meds and doctors or give up their systems.

any doctor can come here and also become a doctor, I personally served with a man who served in Afghanistan as an e4 from peru and he was a doctor there and became a us citizen and only had to take his test. he was trained in the u.s.

I know of no restrictions in the u.s. for allowing a foreign doctor or group to build a hospital. of course that doesn't mean that the hospitals here and wont fight the idea via tariff.

Hey guys, I realize that this is really rare, but for the third day in a row there won't be any news. Have a wonderful weekend and God bless! :biggrin Also don't forget that my spooktactular virtual Halloween party will be going on until the night of Halloween!! :thumbsup

...any doctor can come here and also become a doctor...

There are limits to how many per year, varies by state. I talked to a doctor who was on the panel empowered to let non Texas trained doctors into Texas. He told me that they limited the number of non Texas trained doctors per year in order to keep wages lofty. They limited not just foreign doctors, but doctors trained in other states, and licensed to practice medicine in other states of the union.

Its not a free market by any means.

BTW, we don't have to import pills for them to be affordable. Just let additional companies make stuff that is generic. Aspirin doesn't retail for thousands of dollar per bottle in the USA because there is actual competition. Its not one company buying a monopoly license from regulators, and then charging monopoly prices.

Competition, that's the key. Allow free market capitalism in pill production.

Hey guys, just so you know there now currently is a sequel thread to this thread that will have news stories that are just too big for every day news entitled "Breaking News" of course. :)

Neither am I,against that ,I knew the govt but not, which level regulated doctors

New Zealand vs Namibia

Namibia will get completely smashed. Not sure what the score will be, but there will be big gap.

I'm going to guess 60-3

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) I do believe that we have a rather lengthy report today, so then let's get right to it shall we? :salute

First of all in today's news this would become a great sequel to The Fox and The Hound as it's also about two unlikely but adorable friends. Here's more. :)

And a New York man was escorted out of the movie theater after he was being very loud and disruptive during the movie. (Which is a big pet peeve of mine) Here's more of the details. :nono

Also talk about a matter of irony as more than one million Gordon Folding Knives are currently being recalled due to a stabbing hazard. Here's more of the information. :rolleyes

And also you won't believe what is legally allowed in the food we eat. (This made my stomach start to crawl. :erm)

And in order to spread pollution awareness a photo of a baby turtle who died from eating more than one hundred pieces of plastic was shared on a social media website. Here's more. :sad

Also Florida wildlife officials recently caught a world record breaking eighteen foot python. Here's more. :eek2

And also a twenty-one year old man from West Palm Beach Florida was sentenced to ten days in jail after he overslept and missed jury duty. Here's more on the story. :nono

Finally in today's news one high school in Ohio was closed on Friday after an assault on another classmate was made in the hallway on Thursday. Here's more on the story. :nono

That's all for today's news! Have a wonderful rest of the day and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :)

That's a monster snake. Sometimes they eat alligators. They escaped from a zoo during a hurricane, and now they are all over the everglades.

I hope they get that puppy out of the cage before that cheetah becomes an adult. Wild animals can be cute when they are young, but can become dangerous when adults.

Maybe they will invent a robot to take all of that yucky stuff out of our food.

May the Lord bless you.

I agree with everything you said. Although the dog and cheetah looked really cute together we can't forget that that cheetah is a wild animal and wild animals can be extremely unpredictable. And yeah, who knew just what exactly was in the food that we consume? Gross!! Oh yeah and I sure wouldn't to be in the same movie theater where somebody was being loud and obnoxious. May the Lord bless you as well though. :)

No pythons were bought here while a gator big enough can't eaten now six or bigger gator ,these do get up,to 12 ft or more can be eaten by the python.

Gators do kill and eat the python

Survival of the fittest. Whichever is stronger, gator or snake, wins. Gators eat snakes, and snakes eat gators.
pythons of that size aren't native to my state. they were brought here as exotic pets and escaped or were realized. the state has a no limit of the amount they will pay you to kill. them and the 4ft snails that are poisonous. the snails eat stucco.

Well if they are living at home they are not homeless. We were talking about meeting the homeless basic human needs of clothing, food etc.

Then don't. But realize this thinking is the problem in our society. Would you take away help from people who need it because of some immoral people that abuse it? Lets come together and solve problems is instead of stereotyping and dismissing them.

Do you not realise that there is no such thing as ending "homelessness" and/or "poverty"?.

I tell you, there are many homeless people who do not want to live in a home, they have there own community and if you offered them a house to live they would refuse the offer. I put a homeless guy up for 3 nights where I live and the next morning he split. He had a bed, tv, kitchen, toilet. He wanted out, he was more comfortable on the street with his homeless community and friends.

Welcome to the real world of Knowledge.
