I see that Fastfredy0 agrees with you.Actually, I go back to the koine Greek language that God wrote the original text in through the original authors, which I have studied for many years.
All the translations and transliterations have been altered to fit the English language.
My favorite go-to bible is also the NASB translation in English, but I have a whole library of Greek study tools that I mostly refer to in my studies and only use the NASB for reference when talking to someone not familiar with the ORIGINAL LANGUAGE, which is much deeper, more complete, and covers a much wider fullness of meaning.
ABSOLUTELY
Did you read the scriptures I posted to you??
GOD SAID EVERYTHING.
All I did was repeat what God said.

SEEK - ekzeteo
Koine Greek- The common language of the day that Jesus and all the disciples spoke
The meaning is to search out or seek diligently and earnestly, our God, with deep sincerity for His favor.
The synonyms for the word seek are anazeteo, diaginosko, dierotao, exetazo, ereunao, prosecho, andpunthanomai

No. I'm not showing off.
I'm merely showing you the difference between the MILK of the word and the MEAT of God's word.
Your thoughts you compare to others, but all of you are drinking the "MILK" of the word which is immaturity,
while others EAT the MEAT of the word, which is "MATURITY".
You don't have to feel bad or insulted.
Your on the road to maturity, but have much further to go than others.
It's all part of the process of learning.
He always does. You must be a closet calvinist.
Jesus spoke Aramaic...He knew Greek because Nazareth was not far from an important trade route used by those of the whole region. Greek would be like knowing English in other countries --- it makes life easier. He also spoke Hebrew...that was the religious language.
I don't feel bad or insulted.
It's others that would make me feel this way, but I'm rather respected in my circle.
But that's neither here nor there.
I do wish to repeat that it's not necessary to know Greek, or any other language, to understand what God is trying to tell us in the book HE inspired.
So the verse you're speaking of would be
John 6:44
44“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
Two points:
1. Jesus must have been confused because in the following verse He says the opposite:
John 12:32
32“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”
Please reconcile this for me since you have the meat....
Please answer this question regarding John 6:44:
Who does the Father draw to Himself?
******************************************************************************
And, it seems to me that you might believe that man cannot seek God or that Jesus said he cannot....
So you'll also have to reconcile the following:
Jesus Himself said:
Matthew 7:7-8
7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8“For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
And, it seems all the writers of the bible believed God could be sought and found.
In fact, it seems God absolutely wants this....

I think this will require reconciling too.
