Israelis demand Third Temple

Amen Brother. He sounded a little like my Brother when I'm encouraging him to read the bible more. It's reason to not read them I think. I don't understand it, the translators probably got it wrong...and stuff like that. Laziness will not be an excuse on that day.

I found a scripture about it

2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.../

And in the AMPC version, it reads like this:

Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.../

Nothing here about the scriptures being a curse.

JLB

Well because you know the bible so well can you please tell me what the letter is Paul was talking about that is a curse?.

Paul says the letter kills and the Law is a curse firm.

You are wanting knowledge and understanding from the scriptures, which are a curse?

JLB

People are so focused on the letter there not focused on God. Do people think Paul wants them everyday to study his words and focus on what he has to say?.

You are wanting knowledge and understanding from the scriptures, which are a curse?

JLB

No, im just a sinner forgiven by God'sercg though Christ. Nothing more.

I dont want knowledge because its a curse.

I can guarentee everyone who asked Christ for forgiveness went straight to the Law to try serve Christ.

People are so focused on the letter there not focused on God.

Now I can agree with that.

We should spend time alone with the Lord, seeking Him and worshiping Him, as well as praying for others and ourself.

Then after that, with His presence upon us, we are taught the scriptures by Him.

Only endless reading of the scriptures without His Life and Spirit guiding us and feeding us, is likened to eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

If He feeds us with revelation and understanding from His word, then it will have life and benefit.

I will post a scripture to substantiate what you may be saying, that I do agree with.

39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40 But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. John 5:39-40

Nevertheless, this understanding does come from the scriptures.

As it is written -

It is good that you grasp one thing and also not let go of the other; for the one who fears God comes forth with both of them.
Ecclesiastes 7:18 NASB

A healthy balance of the word and the Spirit is a good thing.
A healthy fear of the Lord is how we accomplish this.

I have no idea how people thinks its nothing when Christ said 'this generation will not pass till all these things are fullfilled ', a generation is 40 years, and within 40 years from Christs words Jerusalem went through tribulation for 3.5 years from 66-70ad, and like never seen before, the entire land was slayed and plundered and completely levelled with the temple. Those in Judea fleed to the mountains when they seen the signs and Jerusalem surrounded by the roman army.
Dan,
I'm sorry you do not appear to attend Sunday School because if you did this would already be understood.

3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

All of these events are happening right now. Everyone is scared to death of Iran and North Korea becoming Nuclear with the mad men known as their rulers.

9 “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.

The Jew and the Christian were persecuted by the Romans but Prophecy is very often fulfilled two or three times before it is complete and the Christian people of this age have not known persecution but we are about to be with the coming of the One World Church that, world wide, is being pursued.

10 At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.

The Meeting Places for the Church, the people that believe, is empty on most days and, even on Sunday it is not filled with true worshipers of God. The single thing the Church of today is good at is dividing, in disobedience to God's Word. And then they fight tooth and nail over doctrine.

11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.

Look at the Tele at a different preacher/televangelist for a couple of months r visit their web sites and you will find every sort of liar there, false prophets. Benny Hinn has been so bold as to promise that God would, bodily, appear on stage with him.

12 Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.

America was, in the forties and the fifties, a Christ driven nation and in the sixties turned and started the move to lawlessness. I saw the same thing happening Over Seas. We are today a Lawless People, ignoring even God's commands, sleeping with one another's wives and hating our neighbors. We have, as a people, fallen away.

13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

I and my wife and daughter are hanging tough and I wish and pray that I could say that about my two sons. Not only are we required to believe but we are required to believe when they are coming to kill us.

14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Only just now are we able to reach the
Gospel to all peoples of this world, that is one more sure sign.

Perilous Times
15 “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. 17 Whoever is on the housetop must not go down to get the things out that are in his house. 18 Whoever is in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.

Did you notice that He did not include anyone with the sons of Jude and Benjamen, All the other ten tribes are not include, God, as is His custom, move the bulk of the people
away, Israel is not included and today the people in Israel are the children of Judah.

19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. 22 Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

The Jewish have never had any of their troubles cut short but this time it will be the case.

23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or There He is,’ do not believe him. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. 25 Behold, I have told you in advance. 26 So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. 27 For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

This is speaking to Judah's children which came to include those of Benjamin and the only question here is who are they because we are learning when this will be.

The Glorious Return
29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

This, in spite of the nay-sayers, that use portions of scripture to prove this happened in 70AD, this portion must be ignored to prove their ideas. To ever ignore the light of all scripture must shine on any scripture is beyond imagination but to ignore av scripture in the same passage is just nuts!

30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

The Rapture, The Raptures it must happen before the LORD's Day LORD or Day of the LORD. And it is importnt to notice, Hie feet do not touch the ground.

Parable of the Fig Tree
32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near;

The Fig Tree is the nation of Israel here. One day, our days, in 1948 the Fig Tree Budded and was alive, once more and Jesus knew it would happen ad here we have the time table for his return. I was born in 1945, just three year before the generation He spoke of not passing away. It is close enough that I might not get the Whole Deal, death, burial and resurrection! It is so close that I might not get the death served to me.

33 so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

And that is how people you do not understand can believe the two scriptures that are often ripped out of context do not say what you believe. To tell you we are right would be as rude as if you condemned us but now you know. You see, we understand that God used about 40 pen men to transcribe the Bible but there is only one author of te book intended to lead us home to Him and therefore there is no conflict in scripture, they are just not placed into context for understanding.

May God bless you with a clear vision of His Word.
Amen!

The new law of Christ represents our Lord's plan and purpose for our lives. Understanding and following this New Covenant is of the utmost importance if we are to inherit everlasting life. The passages below elaborate on this New Law, but also contain a strong warning to all who insist on self-righteousness through dead works and ultimately deception and denial of the Faith.

Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

The New Law Of Christ is the only available option
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The verse above is of no consequence for those wrapped up in the deception of babylonian talmudism, aka judaism. It should however be of grave concern to one who claims to be a Christian.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy The Law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

Few are able to comprehend the significance of what Jesus revealed, when He declared, I am not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. The self righteous will focus on the least important part of this passage, as a pathetic excuse to suggest that the Old Testament laws are still in play. This verse is yet another parable to the unlearned, who are without faith, that pretend to be justified by the law that was given unto Moses.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jesus did not destroy the law but was the fulfillment of the prophetic words in them regarding Himself. All that believe in Christ, are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses (Acts 13:39). Furthermore in the rest of Mathew chapter five, continuing on until the end of chapter seven, Jesus establishes His New Covenant law which clearly replaces the old law given to Moses.

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The law was our instructor to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by our faith in Him. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under the old law, but have in fact been redeemed from the curse therein through Christ. All who are in Christ are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise (Gal 3:10-14, 21-29).

Matt 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Those who set about to establish their own righteousness through the works of the law, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Christ is become of no effect unto those who claim to be justified by the law, as they are fallen from grace (Gal 5:4, Rom 10:3-4).

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

That is not Christian nor Jewish, that is slinging bull to see if it will stick to the wall. None of the modern day Jewish Believers and the Christians that are true believer will claim that lie for theirs.

Why do people think the bible is relevant to them when nothing in scripture was written to them?. Jesus was speaking to people at that time. Paul was speaking to people at that time, he even directs his letters. Nothing was written for or to us. Why are people calling Jesus and Paul a liar?

"To the church of the ephesians ". Not "to you people reading this letter 2000 years later"

Why do people think Paul is speaking to them when his letters were not written to them?

Why do you think Christianity is so confused.

Do people think that Paul wrote a letter specifically to the Thessalonians in his time and said to them

"Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,".

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" Paul is not talking to you.

And for some reason what Paul said even he wrote to them directly at that time telling them these things will be to them, hes a liar and it was really written to people thousands of years later. People are calling Paul and Jesus a liar.

Paul knew judgement was coming.

Why on earth would Jesus talk directly to his diciples and say 'see I have told you all these things' and 'watch out you are not decieved' and 'when you see these things', and all the end times stuff if it was not to do with that generation. Oh Jesus did also say that generation would not pass till the end and his return, but people think he's a liar because they dont know what happened in the 1st century so it must not have come to pass.

To the seven churches in Asia. Are you in the historic churches of Asia and lived 2000 years ago who John wrote to?.

So a letter was sent to the churches in Asia minor and the people who it was for and read it, why on earth would it be written to people of far of of generation if it directly spoken to the churches in Asia of that time.

Jesus was talking to people at that time things that would happen in there generation, he was not Prophecy and speaking to anyone else.

Jesus said 'i am the ressurection'.

All im saying is I believe no scripture is written to us. It was first century from Christ to 70ad.

Paul writes a private letter saying To my dear son Timothy, and Christians think its written to them. To the ephesians, To the corinthians, To the Thessalonians. John, To the seven churches in Asia.

Jesus spoke to his diciples and said when you see these things, and Christians think scripture is talking to them and its when they see the signs. If the people in that generation did not see all the signs then Jesus is a liar, but i dont make Jesus out to be a liar.

No scripture is written to or for anyone today. Thats my opinion.

My question would be when did it stop? In Romans 15:4 we see Paul saying that even stuff that was written long before him was for instruction during his time.

I do understand this is about end times and things can get heated but you did mention the letters. Would you flat out say nothing in corinthians is for our instruction today?

Sorry I guess that's two questions.

It stoped in the first century because Jesus told people directly they would witness it in there life time, and that generation.

Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.

Dan,

The
Resurrection has not happened and if it had we would be saddest people of all because we would have zero hope of ever getting to Heaven and you're missing the mark because you have removed the verse from the context, Brother. Jesus gave us the time marker in that context of the fig tree and the fig tree, the fruit, is Israel and Israel bloomed May 14, 1948. I was born in 45 making my generation, about 45-65, the generation that will not pass before He returns to Rapture us out. It could, very well be that even I, as old as I am will be riding in my wheelchair and be Raptured.
