Jesus came to call sinners to repentance

The Hope of Israel.
gordon777

What you said had another side statement at the last moment.
Isaiah 10:22 kjv
22. For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23. For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.

Just as the end of Israel seems sealed the hope of a remnant being saved appears.

We truly know God was about to destroy mankind at a point.
But
Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
And
8 souls were saved from the flood.
Genesis 6:8

The same thing happened to Israel.

Ezekiel has the best description of what happened.
Ezekiel 9:4 kjv
4. And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

All Israel is saved already, they are of the Spirit and not of the flesh.

There is one covenant, no other one, it is the deliverer, Jesus Christ, He turned ungodliness away from Jacob, to all those of the Spirit. ( for they are not all Israel, which are of Israel.)

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Nothing stops anyone on this earth in turning to Christ, and they do not need evangelists.

God found Abraham, in a strange land, and called him from there, so all who God is calling are called, nothing else needs to be done, just what we see was always done before.

Isaiah 51:2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Hebrews 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

The hope of Israel is seeing Apostle Paul, the prisoner of the Lord, they did not see.

Acts 28:20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

I know you like saying you look through a glass darkly, but we really should have eyes open a little more than that.

Try to stop taking part of the scripture and not looking at the rest, it i not a good useful practise.

Israel have no great numbers for the faith, why ?

Because they sought and seek now by the law.

The Gentiles had no such stumbling block, as the Jews now have, who instead sought by faith.

Reading 1 Peter 2:8, we see that they are appointed to stumble, whoever stumbles at the rock of offence. ( that wont be undone or altered.)

Romans 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

1 Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

You mention Noah, but do not show why this happened to Noah, as we are told about

Few souls were saved by water, the like figure ( few) saves us, which is the baptism by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. ( the remnant were saved whenever they had no stumbling block or no offence by the cross of Jesus Christ to them.)

The same as the days of Noah, all were living in this life happily, they were all swept away, so the coming of the Son of man is. ( not as you are teaching for saving for anyone any longer.)

1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

There was a saving of dispersed Israel at Pentecost; by the Gospel presented at Pentecost.

Then:
Peter went to convert the lost spiritually of Israel.
Paul and Barnabas went to the gentiles.

Those two groups are still being approached today. It may seem hopeless.
But
At the last moment:
Noah was saved
Lot was saved
Grieving Israel was saved
Gentiles were saved (post Pentecost)

Have we heard of the saving of Israel post Pentecost ???

Salvation does not cease till Jesus returns at the last trump.

We continue to spread the Gospel to the last moment.

Baptizing in the name of:
Father - (Repentance)
Son - (eternal Salvation)
Holy Spirit - (Empowerment to witness)

We keep on till the very end of time.

Acts 14:1 kjv
1. And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.

Romans 10 12 kjv
12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Romans 11:14 kjv
14. If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

Galatians 2:8 kjv
8. (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

We can get the feeling from the background of the chief priests, scribes Seduces and Pharisees of Israel then.

God sent all HIs messengers to Israel, but they misused His prophets, until wrath rose against Israel, and there was no remedy for them. ( no repentance)

Israel did not listen, they instead walked in the counsel of their evil heart.

From the time of Egypt until Israel was exiled into Babylon, God sent to them all His servants the prophets, but they did not listen, they hardened themselves.

Then God left a statement for them, they are a nation who does not obey the voice of God, nor receive correction, ( no repenting) and truth is perished and cut off from their mouth. ( no repentance.)

No man of Israel spoke right, no man repented of their wickedness, they denied they had done wrong.

God told that, the stork in the heaven knows her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 36:15 And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Jeremiah 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Jeremiah 7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Jeremiah 7:27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.
28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Jeremiah 8:6 I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.
7 Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord.

We can already know that when Jesus came to Israel, H has to fulfil all that has been told already to Israel by God.

Jesus begins to tell Israel how they are of their father the devil, which is being murderers from the beginning, ( Cain who was of that wicked one killed Abel)

If they were of God they would hear Gods words, ( to repent) but because they are not of God, they hear not. ( no repentance)

That is proven throughout the Gospel, how the scribes of Israel, think evil in their hearts. ( No difference from what was told previously to Israel. "But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart." Jeremiah 7:24.)

The same was told to Israel in Luke 12, how they can discern the face of the sky, but they cannot discern the time. ( were unable to believe in the judgement of the Lord. Unable to repent and believe.

Exactly as said in Jeremiah 8. "no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? the stork in the heaven knows her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; BUT MY PEOPLE KNOW NOT THE JUDGEMENT OF THE LORD."

Which answers this, "why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?" Because HIs people DID NOT KNOW THE JUDGEMENT OF THE LORD.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Matthew 9:3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

Luke 12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

Israel had killed the prophets sent to them.

Jesus gave the parable to complete what Israel had always done, how they killed all the prophets sent to them, and finally they were unable to repent of what they had done, ( to fill up the measure of their fathers) so they killed the Son also. ( this fulfils how the builders, which are the chief priests and elders of the people, rejected the Stone, who is become the head of the corner. No repentance would be granted to those who were being, what they always were, and the purpose was to establish our Lord Jesus Christ.)

Again another parable tells how Israel has Moses and the prophets to hear. ( Moses who they thrust from them and the prophets who they persecuted and killed)

It was suggested if one went to them from the dead they would repent ?

But it was answered, although one rise form the dead, ( Jesus Christ) they WILL NOT REPENT, will not be persuaded.

Jesus tells the builders of Israel, how they instead of repenting, will fill up the measure of their fathers. as they are serpents, a generation of vipers, to not escape the damnation of hell.

Jesus tells the leaders of Israel, why the prophets were sent to them, because of the persecution and killing they did on the servants of God, all the righteous blood shed on the earth would be required of them. ( no repentance was planned for them, as the blood from Abel shed by Cain, was from them being of the same father as Cain, they are of their father the devil.)

Mark 12:5 And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.
6 Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.
7 But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.'
8 And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
9 What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
10 And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner:
11 This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Matthew 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
God granted them so many chances to turn from sin, but they refused...like now-a-days.
Yet still, He offers them repentance from sin.

God granted them so many chances to turn from sin, but they refused...like now-a-days.
Yet still, He offers them repentance from sin.
Everybody who is of their father the devil refuses. ( the spirit of error and antichrist, is in them)

Yes the same is nowadays.

Matthew 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

There was a saving of dispersed Israel at Pentecost; by the Gospel presented at Pentecost.
There is explanation in the chapters of Acts, if you would not mind seeing what is explained here.

There is declaration of God pouring out of HIs Spirit upon all flesh.

There is confirmation that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is purpose to why the men of Israel are addressed by Peter, because Jesus of Nazareth was among them, and they are the ones who took Him and killed Him by wicked hands.

Peter continued, that they are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant where God shall bless all people of the earth.

Unto them first, God had sent HIs Son to bless them, turning them from their iniquities. ( they are the ones who first rejected the Son sent to them, now they first have to turn and believe.)

Peter had done the very same as the men of Israel had done, to reject Christ three times, then afterwards of course he had to be first to confess love for Him THREE TIMES, and this was the THIRD time Jesus had appeared to HIs disciples.

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Luke 22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

John 21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Acts21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Then:
Peter went to convert the lost spiritually of Israel.
Now Acts 4 is showing the next thing to be addressed.

It is of course the chief priests and elders, because as told, the builders ( rulers and leaders of the people of Israel.) set Jesus Christ as nothing, which made Him the chief corner stone.

The leaders of Israel are always directing the people of Israel to not believe in Jesus Christ.

At the end of Acts chapter 4, we hear about Barnabas.

Acts 5 shows the same chief priests always going to be in the way of the Lord, who Peter tells again, they killed Jesus Christ, and He was hung by them on the tree of the cross, but that God then highly exalted Him to be Saviour, giving repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 6, continues with Stephen, many of the synagogue disputed against Stephen.

Stephen then tells these people of Israel, ( the lost spiritual of Israel.) how they thrust God from them in the wilderness, and turned in their hearts back to Egypt.

Stephen calls them as they have always been, stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do they. ( God chose Israel, because they were stiff necked, to fulfil all of these purposes. Deuteronomy 9:6.)
.
Their fathers persecuted the prophets and they killed them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom they had been now the betrayers and murderers:

When they heard those things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on Stephen with their teeth.

Jesus had done exactly the same to the Jews in the synagogue, how many widows and lepers in Israel were never helped by God, but people of other nations were instead. The men of the synagogue did the same, and were filled with wrath against Christ.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

Acts 4:36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,
37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Acts 5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 6:9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

Acts 7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,

Acts 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

Luke 4:25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

Paul and Barnabas went to the gentiles.
We already heard of Barnabas.

Here in Acts 8, we hear of Saul, one of the people of Israel who consented to the death of Stephen.

Saul then persecutes the church, and because of that, Philip went to Samaria and preached Christ to them.

When Peter and John heard that the Samaritans had received the word of God, they went o them also.

Then Philip was directed to preach to an Ethiopian, who was in charge of all the treasure of the queen of Ethiopia.

Then Philip preached in Azotus, until you come to Caesarea.

Acts 8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Acts 8:3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

Acts 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

Acts 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

Acts 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Saul goes to the chief priests. ( the chief priests always leading the people of Israel away from Jesus Christ.)

Ananias says to the Lord, how Saul has authority from the chief priests to imprison all who call in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord answers how Saul is a chosen vessel to Him, to bear the name of Jesus Christ before the Gentiles, and before the children of Israel, suffering great things for the name of the Lords sake.

Saul ( Paul) later becomes imprisoned by those chief priests, but shows how it is for the hope of Israel he was bound with that chain. ( suffering for the name sake of the Lord to bear the name of the Lord before the children of Israel., as Christ suffered by the people of Israel and the chief priests, and the builders/leaders of the people, continued to set Christ at nothing.)

Acts 9:1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

Acts 9:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Acts 28:20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

The Jews were confounded, they knew that Saul, ( Paul) was bringing the followers of Christ bound unto their chief priests.

Then the Jews took counsel to kill Paul.

Barnabas took Paul, and Paul spoke boldly to the Greeks in the name of the Lord Jesus, and they went about to kill Paul also.

Then Paul went to Caesarea, to Tarsus. Then all the churches had rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified.

Acts 9:21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:

Acts 9:27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
29 And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

Acts 9:30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Next, Peter receives correction from God, that what God has cleansed ( the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.) they are no longer unclean to the Jews.

Peter preaches the Lord Jesus to the Gentiles, who receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

The Jewish believers contend with Peter, Peter answers how the Apostles would be baptized with the Holy Ghost, and gave to the Gentiles the same gift as He had given to them, who believed on the Lord Jesus, and they answered Then that God also had granted to the Gentiles repentance unto life.

Acts 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

They had preached the word to Jews only. (apart from Philip and Peter to the Gentiles.)

When some came to Antioch they preached the Lord Jesus to the Greeks.

Then the church at Jerusalem sent Barnabas to Antioch, and he went to Tarsus to find Saul. ( Paul)

Then Paul taught many people and the believers were first named Christians there at Antioch.

Acts 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

Acts 11:22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

Acts 11:25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

At the last moment:
Noah was saved
Lot was saved
Grieving Israel was saved
Gentiles were saved (post Pentecost)

Have we heard of the saving of Israel post Pentecost ???
Noah was saved first, the same as Israel was told first. ( Noah was saved first, not in the last moment, because he was FIRST, a preacher of righteousness, which brought in the flood upon all those who never heard at any time, as it is now.

2 Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Lot had always been disturbed by the evil of the men of Sodom, Lot heard first, not at the last moment.

2 Peter 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

All who believed in the Lord Jesus, Jew and Gentile were saved, that is what we are preached, nobody can dispute it at all.

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I hope everyone appreciates, all the scriptures tell the testimony wholly and truly, no need to make little statements, little opinions, small answers, ( seeing darkly.) we can follow the explanation and witness in all of the verses instead.

I wont be replying to here also, because if all of the scriptures cant make things plain, it shows nothing will and how anything but scripture is chosen, as told to be. ( everything has been proven.)

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

So when you are in season your fruits are evident.
But
Out of season the nutrition to others is not manifested?
..,..
The scriptures do speak, but for some only when interpreted by another who is in season.

We have to learn how to be on target at all times,
…….
