That's why he had to be born of a virgin, because the seed came from God so he didn't have a sin nature. John 3:3,7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Does that mean I don’t have to die anymore?
If the wages of sin is death, and Jesus took my place, and paid for my sins, that means I don’t have to die.

I was thinking that Jesus himself had to be saved from death through resurrection from the dead. And if we look to him as the accepted sacrifice, we too may be raised from the dead like he was.

My friend, you cannot take epistles written to saints and apply them to sinners. It is written: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

For example, Romans is written to all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints.

And Ephesians, it is written to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.

Also, you never wrote how men can obey the gospel to become christians. Jesus Christ showed unto his apostles that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And that is what they did when the New Testament began on the day of pentecost, saying: Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

When the Bible speaks of our Savior "bearing our sins", it means people sinned against Him. It means people conspired to put our Lord to death contrary to what the law says.

We must consider that this man who made the sinners prayer was still under the Law .Christ had not yet offered Himself as our perfect sacrifice, and the New Covenant in Christ's blood was not in force.

Every afternoon at 3pm, under the Law, a sacrifice was offered for the sins of the day at the temple. This man made that plea of forgiveness based on that sacrifice which represented Christ.

He was justified by the atoning blood of the Lamb, right there on the spot.

I'm sorry I can't agree on your view of salvation. Paul is the only author in Scripture that tells us point blank what we must do to be saved, in fact he tells us several times throughout his epistles.

Not one time did he include water baptism as necessary for salvation.

To clarify, I think this should be something along the lines of "Jesus Died For You To Be Savable" otherwise it sounds a bit like Universalism.

Runningman This is not universalism, God wants everyone saved. He doesn't have to make anyone savable everyone is savable otherwise you are saying what Jesus did was not enough. Anyone that does as God's word says Romans 10:9,10 will be saved.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God has his hand extended towards you right now for you to receive what He is offering. Someone might be saying you don't know what I have done, no you don't know what Jesus has done. Jesus took your penalty for God to treat you as if you never did what you did. That's why God says, "I will remember your sins no more" (Hebrews 8:12). If He doesn't remember them He can't be holding them against you. Jesus bore your sins to be punished in your place so that God could treat you like as if you were him a man that has no sin. 2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. One meaning of righteous is innocent, Jesus was made sin for you, to be found guilty in your place so that you could be found innocent in his place, because Jesus knew/did no sin. Rom 8:1,2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. There is no condemnation to those who receive Jesus, none from God because He doesn't see you based on how you see you. He sees you as his word says, holy, righteous because it's not based on your actions. Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Before you did one sin you were a sinner(that was your nature). You were not made a sinner based on what you did, but by what someone else did. So likewise, you are not made righteous based on your actions(it's your new nature). It's not based on your action, but by the action of Jesus, the last Adam.

That's why he had to be born of a virgin, because the seed came from God so he didn't have a sin nature. So, by the actions of Jesus(the last Adam) you receive his nature by being born again just like you received Adam's nature when you were born. John 3:3,7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. All you have to do is be born again to receive that nature. And that new nature will bring new fruit, fruits of righteousness. Ephesians 2:5,7,8 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;). 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. So, it was God's idea first not mans that God wants to be good to you. So, it's not about how bad you have been, but about how good God is and wants to be towards you (yes you). Romans 2:4 it's the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. Don't let that go to waste, receive. His hand is extended to you right now and every second. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. He's knocking right now at the door of your heart, but will you open it and receive him in.

It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

That prayer will save nobody.
Where was the repentance from sin ?
Where was the washing away of past sins ?
Where is the mentioning of enduring faithfully until the end ?

When the Bible speaks of our Savior "bearing our sins", it means people sinned against Him. It means people conspired to put our Lord to death contrary to what the law says.

consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself Heb.12:3 KJV

journeyman when the scripture says Jesus bore our sins it means just that. The scripture says he bore our sins in his own body. Just as in the old testament God instituted the scapegoat offering that when the priest laid his hands on the head of the goat and confessed the sins of the people the sins of the people were put on the head of the goat. That's what Jesus did our sins were put on him. Thanks
