List of Totally and Partially Omitted Passages in the Modern Translations

and changed many passages from what they are supposed to say.

Look, if you don't want to answer my question, then just say so and we'll move on. What are they supposed to say, as a theologically truthful revelation of our God to us, that they don't already say? What is it? I keep asking and you keep dancing around the answer. What is it that you gleaned from your favorite translation of the Scriptures, that the 'newer' ones that you so dislike, aren't conveying to its readers. What is it? You can't offer a single shred of proof that either of the two base texts are different in one single issue of 'why' God sent His written revelation to us, but that some of the words are different.

Look, I understand that the Alexandrian text didn't come directly out of Israel, it was the account of the old covenant and Jesus' newer work, and what were considered the 'worthy' writings to be in the new covenant. It came through a different line, but the story that it accounts to mankind is the same. It was likely cobbled together through scribes just as the Byzantine text was, and some error was likely made on both sides.

Anyway, if you don't want to answer, I'll move on.

Why? Why are modern deeply faithful people of God choosing the Alexandrian over the Byzantine texts?
