Mother of God

Only if you idolize her. I admire her, as I do Paul, and John, and many other saints and prophets.

Why do you have to admire her. She was a simple human being just like you and me. It's the grace of God which made her the mother of Jesus and not her credentials.

That doesn't answer my question.

(Edited, ToS 2.4 trolling. Obadiah)That's not the gospel of Christ. Neither any birthdays or easter days. Do you remember an issue was made by someone drawing a fake last supper painting and some one making a point from it that Jesus had married Mary Magdalene and all we believers we so furious. (Edited, ToS 2.4 insulting. Obadiah)

I admire a lot of people just like you and me. And I admire the works of God in people who are just like you and me.

Oh really. Whatever you can admire, you can only admire according to the scriptures. And whatever you can admire of me or any one then you can admire only by knowing him or her personally. Now the point comes to the picture. What is there to boast about fake pics. It has nothing to do with the gospel.

Can you show me that, in the scriptures?

Can I not admire a warm Spring day or a hot cup of black coffee without scriptural permission? Can I not admire my church choir singing, or my preacher preaching? I don't understand your reasoning, but I fear that you are greatly bound by the legalism Christ came to free us from.

I have problem with graven images or paintings of (Edited, ToS 2.4, Trolling. Obadiah). Preach the straight-forward gospel. Don't preach adjustable gospel. All those worship leaders, preachers are the vessels of God. my main issue is with the painting you posted. (Edited, ToS 2.4, Unwanted spiritual advice. Obadiah) Let it be narrow as Jesus taught us. No need any adjustment to please some one. Neither did the apostles in the book of Acts did any adjustments. When Paul performed miracles in one place, people wanted to sacrifice animals calling gods, that was also a form of admiration.

Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Should we honor Mary any more or less then the Scriptures do?
