It was a question jason, not an accusation.so i am the enemy huh. nothing you have said that i HAVE NOT heard about before save the entire idea of the noahide thing.
It was a question jason, not an accusation.
dude they already knew if we talk they talk about us that. if you really are that worried then why talk or post about this stuff on the net or the cell phone.
i see no need to continue with this insult.
So are you saying the two witnesses will not be actual men?
Men to whom God chooses to reveal His mind so that they can reveal the truth?
Do you always make such broad assumptions? Taking my question and turning it into an accusation so you can declare it an insult?
(almost missed this post - plus I type slow & try to make sure my phrasing is clear)
Truth is from all my reading I'm not really sure. Because the scriptures do not call them men. (though some translation do - the greek root does not either)
What I do know & can verify is:
Revelation 11:3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
"These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth"
Rev 1:20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches
Declares the the 7 ekklesia (churches) the candlesticks(lampstands)
As I've discussed earlier Paul teaches in agreement with Hosea that all believers are all of Israel - The Olive Tree.
But then too, I can see two powerful persons sent by God representing the Believers & the 7 churches (ekklesia)
So, I figure I'll know when I see it. (hopefully)
so i should take yall words for it and not be a bearean?
Okay.i will restate this i am not offended as i misunderstood as i was posting when you were and didnt see your response to that till now.
No way!!
Are you doing any independent digging?
You go ahead and do that Brother and DISCERN!
Thats all we can do at the end of the day is discern.
You could also note the fact that you are the only Brother fighting the info brought forward here. That should tell ya something bud.
i am aware of that, that is why i say a persecution is a coming to the american christian, the best to see this stuff isnt the blogger but these guys,
aclj.org(calling out iman rauf as a liar at present)
and also breakpoint.org with chuck colson he pointed out to me that the green movement wants to control the population via birth control and also the coming idea of modern eugenics and also the euthansia.
Okay.
I meant no offense btw.
I don't consider you an enemy either. I asked to hear your response.
In truth I wondered if you would respond at all.
You are self proclaimed military, and a moderator who said he knows we are monitored by the government.
Like killing two birds with one stone.
Anyway, no big deal.
Wearing sackcloth seems to be an indicator, don't you think? And prophesying?
lol, i have known of the govt monitoring the internet since the mid 90s before i was saved. and the reasons in part is for cyberterrorism and intel gathering and to monitor hate sites.
and btw the govt knows already, as some on the army website have discussed this, and at present if the army wanted them they would be gone.
again if we take this too far are we to not trust anyone on the net? if so why even post here, one of us could be a spy!
see how silly this can be.
My thoughts are as yours, we can only wait and see.Yup, and sackcloth can also represent mourning & repentence. Which could mean spiritual revival in the Lampstand & Olive tree. So, I'm not 100% when looking at the full context of scripture, and don't see anyone one actually could be till we see the events unfold.
Thoughts?
My thoughts are as yours, we can only wait and see.
If I knew of a nuclear bomb, where it was, when it would go off, and tried to warn people; they would question it, and debate it, until it went off.
Only when it goes off can they look back and say, "I guess he was right".
So what can be said?
Christians are caught in a catch 22, they need to make sure that no one deceives them, and they want to be on guard and be sure of the truth they believe. So if God send them a messenger to make sure they know the truth, they first have to doubt, then examine, and by the time they are sure it will be upon them. So what good is it to foretell and warn?
