New, improved, weather report for the day

golf, the sport of the anti-christ

What?

i don't hate golf, I hate what most golfers here do. why? does a county need 36 golf courses?why should a state have to pass a law making it illegal for a golf course to open during a thunderstorm, and also to have an air raid siren to warn that a thunderstorm is nearby. yes I get to listen to that if its the right time of day. yeah a flashback.

Sun burns us so bad here in the country in Australia that I used to wear tshirts out in the sun but now wear long sleeves. My chilli plants grow better under shade than in the sun. The sun just destroys them in summer. Everyone here agrees that it burns more than it used to say 20 years ago. They don't call it "the sunburnt country" for nothing.

oh theres more. they forced black men and women from their homes on the barrier island to build their golf course. sick. that was long ago. I have no issues with the game.its the jerks that come here to play it. where I live has mult-millionaires and most play golf. I have been in their homes reading meters and get the comments. I see the greed and vice etc. I want no part of it.

Been cool and wet, lately. Sun is back out today. I hope it gets nice and warm tomorrow for King Felix Perfect Game Bobble Head night! :D

Speculative: Well, if it's been cold and wet around Seattle / Juan de Fuca, I guess it's about par for the course...

Blessings.

Taken today at ~9:31 Pacific Daylight Time

If you look, you may see me there at 11:00 am - I'll be the old guy surrounded by younger people.
Oh, and I'll have my tablet with me so I might see you too.

Does anybody else remember JP Patches and the ICU2 TV? Probably not. He was a local "hero" while I was growing up in the Pacific Northwest.
J.P. (Jules Pearpont) Patches was a clown who lived at the city dump and his show was televised daily. I love JP.

Kind of reminds me of the joke about the Pacific Northwest coast:

If you can see the ocean, it's going to rain.

If you can't see the ocean, it's already raining...

Those of us who have been here long enough know the secret of walking between the drops. We also have tarps on hand. Lots of tarps. Comes with the territory as does mold.

PS: Atonement: We have had our share of thundery weather up here, also...

It's juts been hot and muggy.. I'm hoping for showers to cool things off a bit.. The down side to that is the following day, when the humidity is very high and the mosquitoes are out in force :phaser

Atonement: ...I see, and so let's hope your cousin has his air conditioning switched on for his clients in his parlor, too... :)

Blessings.
