Do you believe that Isaiah 2:2-4 has been fulfilled yet?

Some are not going to like this but truth is just that, truth. America's mighty men have gone the same way as those of Edom and they are no more. When I went into the US Army, my DI would take off his shirt with his rank on it and put any cute trooper in his proper place, out behind the barracks. If Sgt. Brown told me or any of his men to jump, we asked him, "How high and how long?" Today, I am informed by my youngest son that the Army has a Time Out Card, carried by every soldier in training. And I tell you the truth, if I had ever been stupid enough to think I could call time out on the field of combat, I would not be typing this message for you to read.

You are right, I don't like it and it's not because it's true or not, I believe you.

That DI and others like him probably got the living daylights sued out of the army for assault. And don't get mad at me, I'm just reporting what likely happened, Bill. I don't care where you are, assault should not be allowed, especially for all I know, from some insecure DI that had to do that to others to feel like a man. These men that were getting their tail kicked, were stuck in a situation where they could do nothing about it before or after, no fair. Just like some of the women in the service, unfair things happen because it's a hush hush little society that is apart from the law and I can't imagine anyone looking up to actions such as beating up our young men stuck in a situation like that and there to serve there country, and no, don't care if they were drafted.

If the Army was so disposed to assaulting it's own people or allowing it, a time out card was probably a very good idea and the only way to deal with mean people that take advantage of their position. I say, it's about time!

And BTW, no one said a word about calling time out on the combat field, that was just you.

Just what is it you think I should study so I might believe. Should I study the book of Obadiah hard enough so that I can make some prophecy from a few thousand years ago fit your idea of its fulfillment in the destruction of the United States. I wonder who it is that should stop dreaming? But you see Bill, I have studied, and I do believe, and yet I did not give you a prophecy fulfilled a few thousand years a go, I gave to you a prophecy that is/was to be fulfilled at the end of the thousand years. Those thousand years are up and the deception grows.

I am not dreaming Bill, I am just watching a different kingdom than you are. You are watching the kingdoms of this world and you try and interpret the Bible based upon what you see. I am not watching the kingdoms of this world, my eyes are fixed upon the kingdom of Heaven, and it is of His kingdom that I speak; I speak not of that which I have seen for myself, but of that which He has shown me. I have studied, now I just believe. For it is evident that the just shall live by Faith.

You have informed me that you know more than the Holy Word God promised to keep Holy and therefor we do not worship the same God. It will do you no good to try diverting the topic of this study with your own special brand of self created christianity, that is not Christianity and is not to be discussed in a topical Bible Study on the book of Obidiah. Are you a vet, I stood and fought and I wear one of those Federal Class Medals and they are not awarded to cry babies. Try, one more time to hijack this thread and I will report you. Slap me in the face with slander one more time and I will report you for a Coffee Break. I will not answer you stupid remarks about law suites they did not train fools like that... maybe you, you did imagine it, didn't you? I and others got what we asked Sgt. You are attempting to convince us that the book of Obadiah somehow has something to do with the USA. I have simply asked you a question about a verse that we have both discussed in another thread this past week so I have a better understanding what you believe. The question was a simple yes or no answer, no explanation was required. But you won't answer the question so that I might have a better understanding of what you believe, instead you make not so subtle threats about reporting me.

If you do not wish to answer my question pertaining to Isaiah 2:2-4 in this thread, then a PM is not necessary. Perhaps you can just answer the question in the Bible Study thread on Isaiah 2:2. I would honestly like to hear your answer. If you should refuse to answer my question, should I then assume that you have done nothing but belittle your own position?

I'm sorry, you've read into and I am not going there at all. I am a very firm believer in what I have preached on the matter of the End Days Israel. Edom turned on Israel and God did not break His promise to keep Israel forever nor shall he as he US turns it coat inside out.

Edom joined with Babylon in the destruction of Jerusalem around, what, 550AD?. So I am comparing what Edom did to what you think could be a prophecy that is also about the US. When God used Babylon to bring Israel back to Him, it was temporary, 490yrs.. I didn't say anything about God breaking promises. Please ask what I am talking about if you don't understand me. That is what I am trying to do when I don't understand you. :nod

Good lord the stress card in basic is no longer used and hasn't been in over a decade nearly two. I have a soldier in my platoon that is an amateur mma fighter.challenge him? I don't think so.I fought as well when I was active army as a kickboxing but wasn't all that. I know an other e6 that ets that is a us Marshall that got me into mma.I'm too old to fight now so I train for the fun and art I do is geared not for sport but self defense but it has a lot of mma to it.last class we practiced arm bars from the mount and guard

As for judging/discerning, if you come loose from the World's favorite verse to corkscrew and read the rest of the paragraph you will find we are commanded to judge ourselves and then to judge others the same way we judge ourselves, and I am.

The stress card began the mess even if it is not used now and the standards, that allow women, not ladies, on the front lines, in any position were cut, even the newspapers reported it. It is not the same Army! And the facts are showing these prophet words to apply.

Then the same would go for gentlemen on the front lines then...right?

I can't help but wonder how a lady who fought for her country, worse yet one who was severely injured, or a Mom/Dad who lost a daughter, would feel about what you are saying there? People do or might see these posts somewhere down the line and I know it's fairly unlikely but what if someone who lost a loved one came here for some comfort and saw that post? Again, it's a stretch that would happen but what you just said might devastate them.

God rules my life, completely. And `if any mom and dad lose a daughter because she put on men's shoes, I feel sorry for them but I will not lie to them, that is sin.
