Predestination

God was dealing with nations in the to. Romans 9 is not doing that. This is a common excuse to avoid individual election unto salvation.
Paul is not repeating the OT. texts on the nations in Romans 9.
You are looking for excuses, not answers.
I wasn't asking anything I.
Just trying to understand.
If Romans 9 is stating what you believe, then Paul should have mentioned this in every single letter of his....seems pretty important.

You believe what you want.I do not blame God for man's sin as you two do.. At least we are clear about where we stand
OK
But the Baptist Confession states that God created everything, even sin, but yet man is responsible for his own sin.

This makes no sense.
I guess you won't be answering my posts either.
It's just as well.
We won't get anywhere in trying to understand each other.

I find these responses to be non responsive. I only like to help people who are really looking for answers.
You and DM are not serious about it at this time from what I can tell.
I will answer posts, to show what is biblical for those who are interested. Your posts might be used to help show what happens when people turn away from it.

No I
I was speaking to you to exchange ideas and try to understand this disconnect between what calvinism teaches and what you seem to believe it teaches.

You must do a lot of witnessing.
That's another aspect of reformed theology that's not understandable to me.

But we won't go there.

Paul Rodgers of Bad Company asked the same thing. Here's the rest of the lyrics:

♫...What makes a woman do the things she does
One day she'll love you, the next day she'll leave you
Why can't we have it just the way it used to be?♫

You made me think of that song, lol. :lol

Sorry for the fun interruption. Back to the discussion.

I type really slow...went line by line but it was over 10000 characters, I was trying to divide it ,and deleted all of it:shrug
I will get to it eventually. The issues resurface.
Beings as I sometimes code when I'm not doing brain surgeries, I got in the habit of hitting the save button every few minutes on everything I type. It only took a couple of times of losing pages of code to teach me to save a lot and do periodic backup's.

Have always saved when typing.

Now I do it on here too.
You showed me how.

But what if i press the wrong save button!
:hysterical

Our interactions have improved. There is value in that.

My teaching is mainstream. I have taught in several places both reformed and non reformed.

I pray for those opportunities every time and in every place I am out in public.
I do not lay aside what I believe in order to accomplish that.

Dorothy Mae and I are serious.
But what do you mean by your last sentence??

Reminder for wondering and Iconoclast ...

...and don't forget the milk and eggs.

Funny free will is that .

You think God doesn't reign in evil just accepts it because he must
Evil is a big topic for me.
If God created evil , we're in the hands of a sadistic God.

If He didn't, where does it come from?

People come up with different ideas that don't make much sense to me. I've learned to leave it alone.
