Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

This scripture says the Church is the Lord's wife -

31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:31

We have a comparison "AS" to understand the spiritual connection but we are not females and even John said He was a friend of the Bridegroom never making himself a bride.

Rev_21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

We are also not sharing a joint marriage with a city. The body of Jesus is not going to marry the head.

The New Jerusalem is a reference to the Church. Like a city on a hill.

A city speaks of many houses yet one...

What does this phrase mean to you, Brother Mike - and the two shall become one flesh...

Who do you think the Lord is joined to at the marriage supper of the Lamb, if not The Church.

First we are already joined the Body of Christ. You can't get anymore joined than that. The connection of the new City to the body of Christ is real dodgy at best.

We are never referred to as the body of Christ, never once mentioned being female. The female virgins were just friends of the bridegroom.

Joh_3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy
therefore is fulfilled.

John makes it clear He is a "Friend" of the bridegroom, and this would have been a great chance to show that John believed He was a female bride........ Did not happen!!!

So, if you show up Drag queening a wedding dress during our supper with Jesus, and all things just stop, every eye on you. I want you to think back to this day that Your Brother Mike did warn you.

You blessed :)

Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." Revelation 19:7

And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Revelation 19:8

If you show up at the wedding feast without a wedding garment like this guy, don't say I didn't warn you.

11 But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?' And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' Matthew 22:11-13

We are way off topic here, but please don't show up in a Dress.................They will also be speechless!!!! Just like the scripture warned you. None of these say the Church is the bride. Zero, and I already told you John would have said he was a bride, but instead said he was a friend of the bridegroom.

So if John does not consider himself a bride, Mike is going along with Him.

I know what you told me.

Show me in this scripture where John says he himself is not the bride.

27 John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven. 28 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent before Him.' 29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.

You must be a friend before you can be a Bride.

This privileged can only bestowed from the Bridegroom [heaven].

That is why John says, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

Is your wife you friend.

Yes or No?

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

This is the corporate Bride, The Church.

Prepared "AS" a bride. Something to compare to.

It's my experience I can't get you to change your mind. Just leave the dress at home, it's all I ask. Now back to the Rapture and the second coming of Jesus.

Amazing how these small things ........... take pages to never come to the conclusion that I ain't wearing no dress.

It's no wonder that men thought the earth was flat. How else would all people see Jesus coming in the clouds?
Has someone answered this?

When Christ returns,ALL shall be changed,at that point we won't be seeing Him from a physical staandpoint, rather a spiritual one, that's how I think all shall see Him

Is your wife your friend?

Oh my. Wording things to where I have to say yes. That is my technique, to back into a corner and they have no choice.

I am not putting on no dress............. Nice try though.

Your good. Very good.

Mike.

Ok, try it this way.

Ask your wife if she is your friend. That's pretty safe.

7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Will you at least wear the fine linen?

So Satan being a Person is going to make him Worse. Giving him a limited flesh body where he just can't zip from one place to another just makes Satan so awesome.

Oh my................. I am thinking that there won't be much left to do for you here.

I would ask for the scripture, but there are none saying that Satan is coming as a person. ZERO. :banghead

And you would have us do what with

II Thessalonians 2:4"Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Or do you not know that the man of sin is satan?

So when Satan walks up to you and introduces himself, then you know he just got kicked out of Heaven.... Got it!!! :screwloose

I have just got to ask. Who the heck you listen to, or you just make this stuff up?

You know the drill, please provide all the backing scriptures please.

Mike.

Not quite, but I will be delivered up to him, however for you, when the below happens, then you will know

Revelation 13:13 "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men."

Revelation 13:14 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."

Guess you don't know who this beast is either......Hint,same as the man of sin

Thanks, I don't know how else to understand that, either.

I haven't a clue what you mean by 'gotcha'.

And presumably the Apostles did not know that the Lord Jesus would not come again in their lifetime.

Gotcha ,meaning I unerstand what you were saying,as to the apostles,my question was, could He(Christ)had came in their lifetime?

Well, presumably from their perspective they didn't know, from the Lord's perspective He chose not to reveal to individuals the extact time when.

Blessings.

What I'm asking is COULD He had returned in their lifetime????In other words, when did His(Christ)return become imminent??????

??????

If I put the Wedding Dress On Brother, My wife won't be my friend anymore. I don't want to embarrass myself and the wedding feast. Go pick on Deborah, I bet she would wear a dress.

Let's get back to scripture.

Show me the scripture that says you have to wear a wedding dress.

7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Revelation 19:7-8

I would hate for you to miss the rapture because you didn't want to be counted among the Bride.

And if I recall, My rapture happens 7 years before your rapture takes place.

"Your Rapture" happens 7 years before the end of the age.

The True Christ comes at the end of the age, to gather His people, after the man of sin deceives the those who believe in a messiah that will arise in the middle of the week. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, Daniel 9:26-27, Matthew 24:15-21

N2thelight: I just want that scripture where Satan decides to become human. There are things here that your missing scriptures for, and it's the Word that shows us what is true and not true.
Don't buy into every mans belief system or ranting, make sure what they say is backed 100% by the Word. You will keep yourself out of error this way.
