3306 Cherokee drive. I know that locale .
an also Goodyear. the tri motor mail birdThe Dodgers were the first team to have their own pilot....I thought that tidbit of info was interesting. And the Holman connection brings it all together.
an also Goodyear. the tri motor mail bird
several teams. mets. tooWell...just as Kermit the Frog had his "Rainbow Connection" .... the Holmans have their major league baseball connection
Many still are alive.I often relay their posts.I have a place I can get photos of different times of Vero .it's McDonald's .that store since it's earliest days has always had something about our history.the Brooklyn dodgers will be there.Vero Nas as well and the goodyear tri motor .bud helped st lucie county get the NY mets .There are times when it's tempting to daydream what it would be like to time-travel back to the those days, to meet the early players and people like Bud Holman.
Well vero nearly had a crap storm on social media.a concerned citizen called fpl about lights put .he posted each week that it wasn't fixed.I went put lat week to verify it and called it in last sunday.it was fixed this week.fpl said to him they are on it.fpl isn't in that location.I thought he was wrong but I didn't want to ruffle feathers and let it go.fpl should have told him its not us.perhaps they did and he got confused or they do run power all the up from their end to city limits.I have seen some whacky things.fpl poles and right of way on the city electric side.city poles holding up fpl lines.city sub station in fpl territory as a fpua tie in.
Our schools as you know has a wierd history.well fpua touches the county line on the mainland side.I believe soon ft.pierce will too.I have to look up there gis map again.it's whacky. Water on the west side of the tracks, electric only on the east side.Isn't life fun!
There's a town nearby that has two separate superintendents... 1 for the elementary & middle schools...1 for the high schools. Talk about confusing!

Vero has that as well.today as I was going to vero I noticed fpl replacing poles.one pole was in city limits.theres no meter in city side but just west of the line there's a well that has fpl power and is a city well. That's so whacked!

Probably state law and tie ins.Vero has equipment in St lucie county that ties in to fpl and vice versa.the the city grid knows if fpl has power issues and vice versa.we have told them about substation issues.Makes one wonder what the thinking was at the time those decisions were made!

You can't isolate a grid.not if you don't want to sell or recieve power.fpua nor covb produce powerAs long as the working relationship goes smoothly.............
Big blue spent most of its life pushing power to fplYou can't isolate a grid.not if you don't want to sell or recieve power.fpua nor covb produce power
