In the grave till Christ returns?1 Thes 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Rev 20:5-6
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,
The dead are dead for now Don.
You can't quote one scripture that will change my belief.
Death is like suspended animation. When a person dies there is no time. So the person that dies, to them it seems that they are instantly in heaven even though a thousand or ten thousand years has passed.
The dead know nothing.
Ecclesiastes 9: 10
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.
Mary is dead. Peter is dead, Adam is dead.
Jesus is alive because he is God.
evelation 6:9
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
If the first repentance from sin was a lie, the baptism was a farce. There is only one church the only ark of salvation Jn 10:16
And only be baptized once eph 4:5
Cos baptism gives an indelible character upon the soul “seal of the spirit” it cannot be repeated
God has no mother. What could be ungodly about the immaculate mother of God, ever virgin, Mary most holy?
Christians cannot accept sects, the tradition of men and their strange doctrines, soul sleep, Saturday only sabbath, denial of their Lord and Jis divinity and the most holy trinity. To finish the verse first.
And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.)
Ecclesiastes 9:5
“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.”
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
Dead people raising to eternal life where the second death hath no power,
Rev 20:6
. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power.
The first death has power but the second has none.
13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
See you in the air after our snooze brother.
Still valid baptismIf the first repentance from sin was a lie, the baptism was a farce.
De Fide! Thee faith! Dogma
What is your "Holy religion" Judaism? Protestant? Evangelical? Catholic? Our holy religion is revealed by Christ and taught by His apostles!
Did I say mother of the divine nature?God has no mother.
He always has been, and will always exist.
I would suggest you do… more research about the origins of the roman catholic church which comes from pagan origins when it was founded in Rome by Constantine about 300AD. This is well known in history. Constantine was the first pope, and he mixed paganism with Christianity and that is how the Roman catholic church was born.Still valid baptism
163. The Sacraments work ex opere operato (simply by being done).
164. All the Sacraments of the New Covenant confer sanctifying grace on the receivers.
165. Three Sacraments, Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders, imprint a character, that is, an
indelible spiritual mark, and for this reason cannot be repeated.
166. The Sacramental Character is a spiritual mark imprinted on the soul.
167. The Sacramental Character continues at least until the death of its bearer.
168. All the Sacraments of the New Covenant were instituted by Jesus Christ.
176. Baptism confers the grace of justification.
177. Baptism effects the remission of all punishments of sin, both the eternal and the temporal.
178. Even if it be unworthily received, valid Baptism imprints on the soul of the recipient an
indelible spiritual mark, the Baptismal Character, and for this reason, the Sacrament cannot
be repeated.
179. Baptism by water (Baptismus fluminis) is, since the promulgation of the Gospel, necessary
for all men without exception, for salvation.
The same apostolic authority from Christ that defined and bound all Christians to believe the New Testament cannon had decreed the dogma of the faith! My BibleS don't contain that writing.
Notice I don't call it scripture.
Christ don’t believe the invented sola’s or the Bible alone but the rule of faith and source of truth for Christians is Jesus Christ and Hos apostolic church! My BibleS don't contain that writing.
Notice I don't call it scripture.
The universal Christian faith revealed by Jesus Christ and the one true church established by Jesus Christ! What is your "Holy religion" Judaism? Protestant? Evangelical? Catholic?

If the one being baptized has lied about turning from sin, his baptism was just a bath.Still valid baptism

God has no mother.Did I say mother of the divine nature?
Or mother of the father?
Or mother of the spirit?
No
Mother of God!
Jesus Christ is true God and true man
Mary is his mother
Mother of his person
She she is mother of God!
Apostolic Council Of Ephesus – 431 A.D. with authority from Christ to bind and loose the faith of all Christians. Matt 16:19 & 18:18
If anyone does not confess that Emmanuel is God in truth, and therefore that the holy virgin is the mother of God (for she bore in a fleshly way the Word of God become flesh) let him be anathema.
Same apostolic authority from Christ that decided and declared the New Testament cannon!
Thks
You are declaring that Jesus is not God!God has no mother.
Jesus did, but He was the Word made flesh.
The Word was God.You are declaring that Jesus is not God!
