Seriously.. whom is the tribulation actually for.

Abraham's monotheism is certainly from God. Moses' Judaism is also certainly from God. These covenants were gifts from God to prepare a people for the Messiah. They are a means to the end of Christianity, but that does not make them necessarily evil, just insufficient. That not all the Jews recognized their Messiah after the resurrection is the fault of humanity's sin nature, and not peculiar to the Judaism of Jesus' time itself. It is all too easy for Christians to forget that their faith is a gift, and in turn to condemn all those who haven't yet received the gift, rather than trying to share it.

My Bible says the Law was added til the Seed should come... not Judaism was added til the Seed should come.

Judaism is a man made religion that rejects Jesus Christ as Messiah.

Those who practice Judaism do not accept Jesus as Messiah.

Just for future reference - God did not give Chrislam as an acceptable religion either.

Jerusalem is the epicenter of the tribulation, where it will start with the AOD.

The trigger is the AOD.

... For then there will be...

JLB,

What do you consider to be the Abomination of Desolation's, or more correctly the Abomination that maketh Desolate to be? What is the physical act portrayed by this event? And please be specific.
And secondly, what does it mean to be desolate, or to be left desolate? And how exactly does the Abomination cause it to become desolate?

NOOOOO you don't say. I bet if I asked my dad about that he would have a ton of posts to talk about his treatment by Christians.

What most Christians don't realize is that it glorifies God to keep Judaism around. That is not to say we shouldn't witness to Jews, just that if upon rejection we are tempted to call down fire from Heaven to consume them, rather than simply shake the dust from our feet, we should know who that temptation is coming from.:mischief

Thanks for making my point!:sohappy

How is that "your" point?

Based on this statement?

Moses' Judaism is also certainly from God.

Show me in the bible where God has endorsed Judaism, a perversion of the law of Moses that is mostly the traditions of men, that has made the word of God of no effect.

13 For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it. 14 And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. Galatians 1:13-14

Paul turned away from this antichrist religion, and placed a curse on anyone who mixed this religion with the Gospel.

Read Galatians 1 and the context by which Paul writes this letter.

The point that I made was just how completely ridiculous it is for someone who is a Christian to claim that Moses Judaism is from God.

I agree we have a relationship with Christ.

We all have a relationship with Christ, but not all have the same relationship. Some by Faith walk with Christ under the promises of the new covenant, others believe in Christ, but their relationship is built under old covenant promises.

Please be more specific, how does it cause it to become desolate? What does it mean to be desolate?

Is that all you got JLB, the false christ and his image? Why won't you answer the more important questions concerning the abomination, such as how does this abomination cause it to become desolate, and what does it mean from the scriptures to be desolate. In order to justify your assertion of a false christ and his image as the abomination of desolation, please answer these questions.

And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up...

6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?" 7 Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. 8 Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, "My lord, what shall be the end of these things?" 9 And he said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.
Daniel 12:6-12

who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God... The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4,9

14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
Revelation 13:14-15

He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

I believe the Abomination of Desolation is a reference to this image of the beast who will be able to speak, and kill those who do not worship...

I believe the image speaking... is a reference to the lying signs and wonders that Paul wrote about.

This speaking and killing that the image of the beast will do from the temple area, is a reference to the desolation that will be wrought upon those who refuse to worship this image or the beast.

Moses' Judaism is from God! It was given to prepare the way for Christianity, and has worked brilliantly for many. Yet it was so beautiful in it's own right that it kept some from accepting their Messiah and moving on to Christianity. Paul moved on from the Jewish religion of works to the Christian religion of Grace when he was chosen by the very Messiah the Jewish religion of works promised. That said, the conduct he was guilty of before his conversion was not emblematic of all Jews, rather it was, and is, peculiar to the self righteousness of those hypocritical Pharisees, and all other religious zealots not guided by the genuine Holy Spirit.

The law of Moses was from God.

Judaism is the religion they turned the law of Moses into, which made the word of God of no effect.

making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do." Mark 7:13

Jesus and Paul both fought the hypocrisy of this religion which blatantly rejects Jesus Christ as Messiah.

The Third Jewish Temple will soon be built -

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6,7

In the 9th chapter of the book of Daniel, we read a prophecy about the coming end times. The New Testament calls it the Great Tribulation, the Old Testament calls it the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’, but they both are speaking of the same event. This event is a 7-year period, preceded by the Rapture, which kicks off the start of the 7 years of tribulation. When the Third Temple is finished being built, Daniel says that it will be for the Antichrist.

What Daniel Saw“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9: 24-2

Understanding The Prophecy Of Daniel’s 70 Weeks

A 60 day international crowdfunding campaign to finance the construction of a modern Third Temple on the Temple Mount garnered $105,000 worth of donations from over 900 donors around the globe by Rosh Hashana, the Temple Institute said Sunday.

According to a statement from the right-wing organization – dedicated to educating world Jewry about the centrality of the Temple Mount to Jewish life and “recreating every aspect of the Holy Temple” – its crowdfunding campaign received the donations from 30 countries.

“The funds raised from the campaign will be used to continue the research of the Institute and to commission additional architectural plans,” the statement said. “The architects will fuse Jewish law with modern technology to prepare for a fully modern Third Temple, Kosher to the letter of the law…”
