What most Christians don't realize is that it glorifies God to keep Judaism around. That is not to say we shouldn't witness to Jews, just that if upon rejection we are tempted to call down fire from Heaven to consume them, rather than simply shake the dust from our feet, we should know who that temptation is coming from.

I believe the Abomination of Desolation is a reference to this image of the beast who will be able to speak, and kill those who do not worship...

I believe the image speaking... is a reference to the lying signs and wonders that Paul wrote about.

This speaking and killing that the image of the beast will do from the temple area, is a reference to the desolation that will be wrought upon those who refuse to worship this image or the beast.

The Third Jewish Temple will soon be built -

In the 9th chapter of the book of Daniel, we read a prophecy about the coming end times. The New Testament calls it the Great Tribulation, the Old Testament calls it the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’, but they both are speaking of the same event. This event is a 7-year period, preceded by the Rapture, which kicks off the start of the 7 years of tribulation. When the Third Temple is finished being built, Daniel says that it will be for the Antichrist.
