The Book of Zephaniah

Thank you for the welcome Reba! I hope I did not stop the conversation, there are probably a few people scratching their heads about what I wrote! Oh well, Bless the LORD.

There are at least two aspects to the Lord's coming. One relates to the church: the coming of the Lord Jesus for his church, or the rapture, as in 1 Thess. 4.

Another aspect relates to the Lord's coming in power and glory on earth. The church isn't in the Old Testament, and the fulfilment of many of the prophecies of the Old Testament are still in the future.

OK!;) Old Elijah here see's Eccl. 1:9-10 + Eccl. 3:15 with many, or few, & whatever other aspects to that word implies. It needs context!

Death is comming to all! Judgement is also coming to all, & not at the same time! Accepting or rejecting Christ also is a fact applied at diffenent 'Comings' of Christ as the Holy Spirit is either rejected or accepted!

Even with a 120 year STRIVING Period. (Gen. 6:3) But to say that 70AD had the kingdom of God come is no different that with King Saul having the Kingdon of God come into his heart at his Born Again conversion. 1 Sam. 10

[6] And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
....
[9] And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.

There is a difference between Christ coming into ones heart & Christ having His Kindgom come & be set up as seen in Rev. 21 chapter!

--Elijah

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. (1 Corinthians 4:20 NIV)
Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, (Luke 17:20 NIV)

Haha just a random guess but I might be posting something your not looking for.
