Hey this is good to know :biggrin2

That's great to know if both cars have batteries under the hood.

Now, please..........show how it should be done in case one of the cars has the battery under the back seat!

:thumbsup

Some Audi models have the batteries under the back seat .... some Buicks ............It's not all that common, just problematic when someone needs a charge.

Yes,it sounds like it.I had a Buick and the battery was not under the back seat.Yes,it must be just some models.

I used to work at a gas station, and one time a care came in that had the gas tank under the driver's seat. I don't remember what kind of car it was, but it wasn't common, since I only saw this once.

ok, the cars with that type of battery often have jump ports under the hood. the buicks do have those.

No all Buicks mine didn't.The battery was under the hood in the front.
the buicks that have the battery in the back seat is what im referring too. where the battery would have been is where the jump connectors are. some cars such as the dodge neon have placed the battery near the right front fender well.

Oh, no! It's the Incredible Shrinking Woman! Run...........!
They say that happens when you get older. But I was all stretched out to my tallest. My mom was only 5 ft so I guess I am glad to be that. When I was in high school I wanted to be what then was called an airline Stewardess.I was too short.A friend of mine went on to become one on United Airlines.

I brother was good friends with this couple and he was 6 ft 7in and she was 5 ft.They were an interesting pair to look at.

I always connected + to + and - to -. This is the first time I've heard that you're supposed to connect - to bare metal. Does it make any difference?

The TOG
that is old. what car has a metal bumper. so its best to start with the ground on the battery, if not able to be connected then use the block, a bolt on the starter or the engine ground.
