That is a very good question. What kind of car is that? That's great to know if both cars have batteries under the hood.
Now, please..........show how it should be done in case one of the cars has the battery under the back seat!

Yes,it sounds like it.I had a Buick and the battery was not under the back seat.Yes,it must be just some models. Some Audi models have the batteries under the back seat .... some Buicks ............It's not all that common, just problematic when someone needs a charge.

No all Buicks mine didn't.The battery was under the hood in the front.ok, the cars with that type of battery often have jump ports under the hood. the buicks do have those.
the buicks that have the battery in the back seat is what im referring too. where the battery would have been is where the jump connectors are. some cars such as the dodge neon have placed the battery near the right front fender well.No all Buicks mine didn't.The battery was under the hood in the front.
They say that happens when you get older. But I was all stretched out to my tallest. My mom was only 5 ft so I guess I am glad to be that. When I was in high school I wanted to be what then was called an airline Stewardess.I was too short.A friend of mine went on to become one on United Airlines.Oh, no! It's the Incredible Shrinking Woman! Run...........!
Hey this is good to know![]()

That is what I thought.I always connected + to + and - to -. This is the first time I've heard that you're supposed to connect - to bare metal. Does it make any difference?

that is old. what car has a metal bumper. so its best to start with the ground on the battery, if not able to be connected then use the block, a bolt on the starter or the engine ground.I always connected + to + and - to -.
