I would think a great deal of people would beleive the himalayas(and other mountains, etc) to be created as mountains, and not forming within 6000-10000 years. I don't see why the need to let them form, instead of creating them as mountains.

If this is true then the global flood was one big doozy, I'm often told by YEC's that there were no large mountains prior to the flood....this helps their problem of the incredible amount of water needed to be 15 cubits above the highest mountain.

Darwin was not a real science teacher,he had no teaching in science,and he had no degree in science. All he trained for was theology.
Today,we have liberal teachers who teach on everything,and most of what they teach is biased based on what the individual teacher wants to believe,not what is based on fact or actual evidence.

So you're suggesting that tens of thousands of teachers across the nation are intellectually dishonest? If I were a teacher and I truly believed that evolution was false [macro-evolution] I would not teach at a facility that required me to teach it as fact. It's a simple as that.

way too many who do,do that. They give their interpretation of what they
feel everything means based on how they personally see the world.The world is extremly liberal today,and many teachers today feel it's there right to be free to teach how they feel,and what they want to teach. Many don't agree with one another.

I know a teacher who disagrees with evolution, and yet she teaches science. Fortunately, evoluition isn't in the curriculum for her grade. I suppose that there must be some teacher somewhere, who doesn't accept evolution, but teaches it.

I think the simple solution would be that someone who doesn't beleive in evolution, if they are a teacher, needs not to teach evolution, or if they "have" to, either quit, or teach something they don't beleive. It all depends on a personal, moral decision.

Teachers have to teach evolution as science, not as fact. What kind of science class would it be for the teacher to constantly stop and state stuff like "The theory of gravity is just a theory. It is not a fact." Remember, that Christiansity has a horrible track record in predicting science. At least we are no longer arguing over flat Earth or if the Earth moves or not.

God does expect us to use common sense. The bible says the earth is round,but some people take the four corners of the earth way too serious. The bible is a literal book,but some people go way too far with it. God gave us common sense.
The four corners simply means north,east,west and south.

Satan showed Jesus the whole world from a mountain top. This is impossible on a spherical world.

The OT says that there is a flattened dome over the Earth called the firmament. On top of this dome is the treasuries of snow, ice and rain. So when God flooded the Earth, he just opened the firmament.

From the New Testament, we learn that diseases are caused by demons, not viruses nor bacteria. Many people were killed to drive out demons based on the Bible.

When Copernicus said the Earth moved around the sun, people started to quote the Bible and said that God stopped the sun for Joshua, not the Earth.

It goes on and on. The Bible has a poor track record with respect to science.

I have done great study and I found the Bible very incompatible with science. You have to weaken the Bible to account for the billion+ year old world and the huge universe.

I know it was an aside to throw in homosexuality being unnatural. I guess you had better inform God that at least 300 to 450 animal species have been documented to show homosexual behavior. So God's nature seems to be quite unnatural.
