That is what I was trying to start. Some boxes have a false bottom, and underneath the false bottom are issues that need to be to be discussed. Some honestly do not know about the box they chose.

I think the letters to the 7 churches (in Revelation) does. Just really lays everything pretty bare, but does not rip out the tares before The Day.

Too aggressive attacks upset tender people.

You can state if you believe a person is incorrect if done in a respectful manner.

A better method would be to just state what you believe to be correct and prove it.

Saying You're Wrong in a derogatory manner, just causes arguments and nothing is gained.

You don’t think it’s possible to say “you’re wrong” respectfully?? Must be a cultural thing. Where I live isn’t but at all disrespectful to say, “you’re wrong.” There’s a love of truth here that renders even unbelievers expecting to be told the truth. It’s not a slur but merely a statement of fact. We’re more open to correction.

Otherwise I cannot recall people simply stating what they believe with proof. What often us said is a personal slur where “you’re wrong” would be much better.

I’m not at all convinced many know how to please God. Jesus said believers will murder others thinking they’re pleasing God. Other sins are even easier to do fooling yourself that you’re pleasing God. I’ve seen direct violation of scripture and am very sure the perpetrators thought they were pleasing God.

The preterist view, as opposed to the futurist view, is that the destruction of the Jewish temple predicted in Matthew 24 is past and the surrounding that prediction happened in the same period. That generation saw the judgement of God on the Jewish nation as Jesus said it would repeatedly.

Of course the second coming of Jesus hasn’t occurred but a great of the plagues and horrors described in Revelation are history for us. Only the good bits are left.

I didn’t say they were. But the concept of a “doctrine of demons” is mentioned in the Bible. My point was here even they are to
be treated with the utmost respect here.
