I have to question why you would even ask me who the enemy is.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Your adversary the devil, Satan, the Old Serpent, the great dragon: the accuser of the brethren.
John 5:45
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
The Law accuses you, as the people who stand upon the law accuse you. This is what we wrestle against. Those who who accuse us, or standing in accusation over others. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places. Sitting in the temple of God, showing yourself to be god.
2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
You wrestle with the scriptures, digging deeper and deeper for meaning. If it were to be to your own destruction as Peter stated, then how would the armor that you put on for yourself protect you?
