Vince accepts the $5 and buys a cup of hot chocolate. Sipping his cocoa, he watches as the sun rises miserably on a world without the Phillies.

Whilst primitive earthlings discuss a curious tribal stick & ball game Scotty beams down to the top of the hill from the Enterprise and stuns everyone nearby with his phaser. Scotty has now taken control of the hill.

 

[Vince]

"Ain't no way someone from Alabama is taking charge of this hill!" Vince yells. Charging up the hill with a baseball bat, Vince seizes the throne.

Or so he thought... Actually, Scotty saw the primitive with a baseball bat yelling and charging up the hill and beamed up before Vince could hit him. Vince swung too hard and wasn't expecting Scotty to disappear like that and lost his balance and tumbled down the other side of the hill. Scotty beamed right back where he was at the top of the hill. :D

Is that cheating? ;)

Realizing what has happened, Vince calls up his friend, Captain Picard, and explains that someone in a primitive Constellation class starship is picking on him.

Using a series of complex equations that Mr. Spock has not discovered yet, Data beams Vince, the King of the Hill, back to his rightful place.

I stand alone on the hill and survey my kingdom.

Looking through his binoculars, Vince sees something in the distance. He gets out the high power telescope Theo left behind and takes a closer look. It's hard to make out, but it looks like a group of about 20 or so men on horseback. Not much to worry about, he thinks to himself, at the speed they're going, it'll take them at least another day to get here. Better keep an eye on them though.

Well, whoever they are, they're not the Philadelphia Phillies.

 

[l'Chante]

As the herd / flock / swarm / school (a little help here?) of horses approach at a steady pace, Vince soon realises that it’s not horses at all, but (wait for it…wait for it…) zebras!!

Could it be? Could it actually be that the African warrior has returned with her loyal (imported) lemurs on zebra-back? (that doesn’t sound right, does it?)

 

[Vince]

I wouldn't mind if it is L'Chante," mutters Vince, as he peers through his telescope at the approaching herd. "At least it isn't the Notre Dame football team."

 

[Theofilus]

Seeing that the horses have come closer, Vince takes another look through Theo's telescope. What the... I've never seen any horses like that before...

And those riders... Those aren't people...

 

[Vince]

"Looks like the Lone Ranger let Silver loose on the savanna," mutters Vince. If those critters know how to bray, they might be the Dallas Cowboys."

Please accept my most profound apologies for the delay in hostile take over. I received a pm that had me in hysterics and I fell of my zehonkey. Due to this unfortunate incident we will set up camp at the bottom of the hill until further notice.

Learning that L'Chante had fallen, Vince hurries to the bottom of the hill. Helping her up, he helps her walk to the top of the hill and lets her be king, er queen, uhm, Empress, uh, whatever, she can be in charge until she feels better.

A group of about 20 chimpanzees riding zedonks arrives at the foot of The Hill. Vince is curious and goes to check it out. As he arrives at the foot of The Hill, he sees that they have large bags with them. As he is wondering what they contain, the chimps open them and start taking out handfuls of ping-pong balls and start throwing them at Vince. While Vince flees the ping-pong ball throwing chimps, Theo comes from the other side of The Hill and takes possession of the throne.
