The Ramble On thread - Part 2

If I did get my ear(s) peirced, I'd definitely want to use some numbing cream. :confused

You said you were going to do it several months ago, but kind of backed off.

A tattoo/piercing parlor would be able to advise about the numbing cream, though.

Blessings.

Man, it's cold in here. I should go get a blanket...in a few minutes.

Up here there is a windchill of about minus 33 C.

Did you change your avatar? one of your drawings, maybe.

Depending on how motivated you may be, anyway, you'd probably find a parlor in your local telephone directory.

Blessings.

PS: questdriven:

You could try drnumb dot com or h2ocean dot com , but the folk in the parlor, if there is one near you, would be able to advise.

Blessings.

I'm not in any hurry. I'm excited just to have a set of furry ears and tail. lol Although there aren't many places I could wear them without feeling weird or ridiculous. When I bought them at the convention I wore them there, but everyone there was wearing cosplay and stuff like that (which makes for a super cool environment) so no one thinks it's weird in that setting. I was still wearing it when we stopped for ice cream on the way home. xD

Sounds like you're into cosplay, anyway.

I think Civil War enactment is a kind of extension of cosplay, maybe. Up here the reenactments seems to be more about the War of 1812.

lol I guess. But a totally different type of cosplay. I think the term cosplay is usually associated with fictional media.

I have some pictures of some of the cosplayers from the convention. But only a handful, because it feels so rude going up to someone and asking "hey, can I get a picture with you?" lol (But it's normal. If you cosplay at a convention chances are people will want to take pictures of you.) I did end up getting some pictures with people dressed as some of my favorite characters. And a wolf fursuiter.

Have you been also to any Renaissance/Gothic-type fairs? sometimes it's spelt: Renaissance Fayre.

Winter Jam's this Friday. Pretty much a guarantee we won't be left outside this time, since we decided to pay a little extra for Jam Nation tickets instead of the $10 at the door fee. $30 to see 10 to 12 bands isn't a bad deal at all, most concerts charge way more.

You'll be getting more of your favorite Christian hard rock, then.

Blessings.

I want to buy a TFK album while I'm there. But like I said, Winter Jam doesn't focus on only one genre. It's for Christian music and bands in general.
