I do not trust anybody as a brother/sister who tells the church to prefer personal interpretation over what the scriptures say. But more to the point, Jesus said the one who does not listen to correction is to be considered as a tax collector and a pagan:
And I would not trust a man who claims to fulfill the Law of Moses by Faith. But that does not mean you are not a brother, nor does it mean you are not my neighbor. But you have gone way beyond the simple acknowledgement of trust, or lack thereof. Trust has nothing to do with it. You have declared yourself to be my adversary, and you do so proudly. But you do not listen to my words except with the intent to dispute them, and therefore you do not hear them and they remain hidden to you.
I pointed out your haughty pride, even inviting you to humble yourself, and that we would receive you if you did, but you rejected it and are persisting in your arrogance. Jesus says to consider you not to be a brother.
Yes, you pointed out my "haughty" pride and I ignored it. Why wouldn't I, I am not the subject of this thread. But you try and point out my pride while projecting at the same time that you have none.
Why yes, I have pride, and why shouldn't I? But what you do not understand is that this pride comes from a deep humility, but it is pride none the less. It is a pride that comes from knowing the Spirit of Christ within me. It is a pride that comes with knowing that the understanding that I have received has not come from my own studies in the word. It is a pride that comes with knowing that the understanding that I have received has not come from any of the doctrines and traditions of men, or the doctrines and traditions of the church. Mine is a pride that comes with knowing that my understanding come directly from the Spirit of God and none other. I will rejoice with that pride whether you like it or not.
But this I am sure will remain hidden to you as well; for as I am hidden away in Christ, and He hidden away in me, for you can do nothing until the vail has been lifted from your heart.
Opinions about scripture are fine, but telling people that there's higher, contradictory truth than the scriptures, and then looking down on the church in haughty pride for not receiving and attaining to this secret level of so-called knowledge, whether true or not, is where your fault lies.
I have shared no secret doctrines on this site. For if they were truly secret, then I would not be sharing them with you. No, they are not secret, they only remain hidden to you. But that is not something that you should take up with me, for it is not within my power to reveal it to you. I can only speak to what I have been given, and that which I have been given I have given unto you. But alas, you spit upon it, and thus it shall remain hidden unto you.
