I do not respond to fairytales. That is all you offer. You still ignore the truth that was presented. You are unable to understand it. Sorry for that. Get well soon.My posts stand as written.
Incorrect, Calvinist arguments crash and burn as you haven't proved God's foreknowledge concerned fallen humanity in Adam's sin.
If God foreknew people before they were born, before doing anything good or evil, a version of humanity that never came into existence, but exists only in the foreknowledge of God, then TULIP is a weed deserving to be plucked out of the ground.
Total depravity, reprobation and a host of other Calvinist distinctives, crash and burn if God didn't foreknow fallen humanity, but a version of humanity that is UNFALLEN. Peter listed some of their names:
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To the pilgrims of the Dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2
elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father (1 Pet. 1:1-2 NKJ)
Their "unfallen version" is destined to be restored in Christ, whenever a person is "born again", passes over from death into life beginning the process of restoration (Acts 3:18-21):
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (Jn. 5:24 NKJ)
Once it is admitted God foreknew those who are His children, those who responded to God's love with love, not for what they could get from Him, but because He is impeccably good Holy Righteous Light, then one understands why God ordained all things will work for their good:
God predestines them to be conformed to the image of His Son (so He can dwell in them) and be justified and glorified unto salvation in Christ Jesus our LORD:
28 And we know that all things work together for good
to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. (Rom. 8:28-30 NKJ
Its implies God created, knowing He would suffer long with vessels of wrath, so His beloved children come into existence:
22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
23 and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
24 even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
25 As He says also in Hosea: "I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved."
26 "And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them,`You are not My people,' There they shall be called sons of the living God." (Rom. 9:22-26 NKJ)
But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared
for those who love Him." (1 Cor. 2:9 NKJ)
This glorious gospel was too bright for Calvin, he couldn't see it. Rather he looked for depravity, reprobation....all sorts of darkness, and claimed it scriptural.
TULIP is a weed, it looks like wheat, but its fruit is horrible.
And it all sprang from a flawed presupposition, that infinite God focused on the fallen realm, rather than on restoring all things to His plan.
19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
20 "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,
21 "whom heaven must receive
until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. (Acts 3:19-21 NKJ)
